SEMCAC here in Caledonia, Minnesota did an excellent job at providing me the help that I needed to get into this apartment as they paid my security deposit and first month's rent when I most needed a place to stay as the last place was a real dump and so I was forced to leave it. Though I hate my neighbor next door my apartment is nice. They also have a terrific food pantry in that building. I walk out with lots of food. And it is not boring food either. There is a great selection. This is a GREAT place to go when you are financially needing help and you are desperate.
