I mentioned that the site was awkward. I have a mac and use Firefox. I also build websites for a living.
It seemed like the order form froze and it was not at all intuitive what to do next. I was a US order. I tried to click the dropdown to select STATE - nothing. I tried to input Zipcode - nothing. Finally I double clicked the Paypal Link and that took me to the purchase info at PayPal.
The shipping time for our product delivery was much longer than we expected. Other companies have proven to be much quicker. This could use some improvement for the customer.
Very good so far. First time I ordered and went to confirm the screen went blank and had to go through the process again (using Paypal). Otherwise, okay.

Most online purchases are pretty much alike. You're was no different. Everything was fine until I got to the shipping cost for a 36" weather balloon. It doesn't take rocket science to see how padded that was. $16.44 to ship a 1 oz product is ridiculous.
Very helpful phone service. Answered all my question about Davis products.

The solar rad sensor was out of stock at the time of my order. Tom called my mobile number and informed me that the sensor will not be in stock for a few days...Tom reimbursed my shipping charges and shipped my entire order expeditiously (UPS Two-day AIR) when the new solar rad sensor was received by Scientific Sales. Thank You for your exemplary customer service. I have done business with Tom and Scientific Sales since 2010. I plan to purchase additional weather station equipment upgrades later this year.

Very easy to find information and ordering is very straightforward. Delivery was delayed but customer service was very fast each time I wrote to ask why the order had not shipped.
