The salesman (my salesperson was Jason) was outstanding during the purchase process. He was very patient and took lots of time answering my questions and explaining how a satellite phone works. I was looking at other websites too, but kept coming back to the Satellite Phone Store because of how they handled the purchase process. If you are in the market for a satellite phone, I highly recommend these folks.
Activation of the prepaid reload took a lot of time. Such services must be 24/7.

I had a great experience with the staff at the store that shipped the phone to me. I received a call the days after I ordered the phone to make sure it was the right phone for my trip. It arrived a day earlier than I had expected and was exactly as advertised. I wouldn't buy this phone because it was difficult to get service due to the fact that it is connected to only one fixed satellite on the sky and was difficult to attain service. The plans are obviously very expensive in this market as well. Otherwise, the transaction part was outstanding.
Spent $660 for a Sat-Fi2 and service agreement. My Android phone would not connect, so I sent both the Sat-Fi2 and my phone to tech support. They couldn't get it to work either and recommended I either upgrade my phone (especially to an iPhone) or upgrade my satellite device. I chose instead to return (ask them to keep) the device. They still charged a restocking fee so that I only received $505 back. Choose a different re-seller.

I love my phone and the service you provide. I am able to find my products and submit my order and payment but it takes several days before the prepaid card says it is activated on my account. Why isn't that part more automated and seamless? I asked the chat about buying a larger/longer prepaid card and if my rollover minutes would still be available and their answer was that there were no rollover minutes and if there was, I would lose them. This conversation dissuaded me from purchasing the other card. I also wish there was a tether option to the INMARSAT 2 phone so I could use my computer in an emergency.
Glad I went with this company. Great service, price and the equipment is good as well.
