Sallie mae offers no repayment options for those who are between degrees or for those serving the community with organizations such as Americorp. I deeply regret taking loans out with this "lender." I remember they were in some trouble in the past. I wish the government would have shut them down. Terrible company!
I have been a customer since 2002 with a loan of ******* and as of 2015 7000 remaining I had approached sallie mae once 2 years ago and today navient who has taken over for release of my cosigner I HAVE NEVER DEFERRED AND ALL PAYMENTS MADE ON TIME. Both the occasions I was rejected saying one payment was posted 2 days late and today navient said the same thing. Sick of these tactics and illiterate reps who cant speak English. No wonder graduates do not pay their loans and these stupid companies should bleed. Now I will be so happy when these companies go bankrupt.
They refuse to stop pushing for money when the borrower tells them they are unemployed. They harrass call from 8am-9pm on a daily basis.
