I just received my 2ft square leather after waiting close to 1 month to get it. One side looks like it was ripped instead of cut and it is not 2 ft long. It is short by 2 inches. I would have thought that Sailrite after all I have spent over the years would have given me a better quality piece of leather. What a disappointment.

Strong thread I got to repair my leather car seat. I got some spare leather from a wrecking yard and patched my car seat.
The magnetic bobbin holder works great! I ordered it on line and it arrived in just a few days. I like having my bobbins in one place!
I had 4 sail lungs brake in a big wind and Sailrite had the right replacement parts and at a great price. I added Silriite to my favorites.
They do it all and have it all.
I just wish the LSZ could stay in backstitch mode without holding the lever

A compact industrial straight/zigzag, walking-foot machine, of this quality level, at this price... I knew as soon as I saw it, I would make it my highest priority. This machine is more than worth the price, many times over! I was a costume director in a theater, and I often worked with such a bizarre array of fabrics that, a machine that can literally handle anything I run under the foot, would have been priceless! I bet this machine would sew through aluminum flashing! Not that I'd recommend that. If you need a machine that can handle anything, this is the machine for you! Though you may also want to invest in a good hand-truck... heavy duty means heavy machine. :)

Great products great customer service what more do you want. Started a full enclosure on my Carolina Classic wouldn't even attempt to do this project if it wasn't for Salerite. Their videos and customer support gave me the confidence to tackle such a project.
Just a one small item ordered, order was accurate, though I don't understand why a small envelope would take a week to get from Indiana to Georgia. I get stuff from Hawaii in 3 days. Shipping is not cheap.
Ordered the vinyl mesh fabric to make pockets for a sailboat. The fabric is perfect and was easy to work with. Pockets look great! Received the order very quickly.

There is nothing wrong with this product. I simply bought the wrong size. I needed a smaller zipper so I had to find one from another website since sailrite only carries down to 4.5.

Hello Raymond, the leather we sell is designed for high chafe areas and is cut straight from a hide. Pickers/shippers will cut these as close to the size ordered as possible, while working within the confines of the hide. We try to make this clear on the website by mentioning, "This is a natural product (not synthetic!). There may be imperfections or holes in the leather, cut edges will not be true, and pieces are often not square." but is missed a lot of times.
