Took guest's payment online. The hotel never subscribes for payments online. Guest showed up and claim they paid for room in advance - This site took their money according to guest!

If I could I would give them zero stars - I'd go into the negative integers if possible. What a scam! A $244 room turned into $370! They signed me up for refund protection coverage without my consent ($29.05) then proceeded to charge me $97.12 for tax recovery and fees! I called to cancel the reservation, and they said, "We can cancel your reservation but we will not refund your money". So now I am fighting to get a refund. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE EVER!

As with other customers, Room77.com did NOT identify themselves as third party. They are dishonest and bold in their exploitation of customers. Ive waited for over a week and still no refund has been credited to my account. They have owed me over $600 for going on 3 weeks. Im starting to think they are crooks and scammers. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. MY next step is to go to AA online.

Thought I was reserving a room with the actual hotel due to how it showed up on the internet search. Very deceiving. Tried to cancel and when we finally talked with someone in customer service, they put us off for days saying they needed to get in touch with the hotel because the hotel would decide if we get refunded. We had tried to cancel with them days earlier but they would not take responsibility for not being available. We ended up paying for two nights that were cancelled. The rates were much higher than the hotel's rates and the fees were outrageous.

It appears by an email that this is the site that we made reservations for a CHoice hotel in FL. I asked if this was the hotel and from what I gathered it was. Very hard to hear as we were driving in a truck. I told them we have a military or AAA discount use whichever you need and that we are Choice members for the points. I was told the amount but not if there was a discount I did assumed there was since person did not say no. They did say talk to hotel about points. We were never asked about smoking or non. Guess what we got - Smoking and it was disgusting for 2 nights. Could not change and the hotel told us we do not get points since we booked thru a 3rd party. The number I called was someones home phone and that is why I called it as it looked like it was a local number of the hotel. Very shady dealing. Never will use again.
