Utter bunk. I started creating my resume as directed. It was advertised as free, which it is free to make. Omitted is the fact that when you finish that beautiful resume you must pay to actually download it. Just another online outfit masquerading as something it is not. About 2 hours of my life wasted. Avoid!
I signed up for a 2 week 5 dollar trial. After 2 weeks I was gonna reup for 5 but they decided to reup me for 25 dollars to a premium account. I tried to contact them. They dont list a phone or email and no one responds to the chatbot. This company seems to be a scam. Be very careful

This is a scam website that wastes your time writing a resume only to try to have you pay when you are done so they can steal your card info and data i also reccomend enabling 2FA Or changing any passwords on accounts you may have used DO NOT ENTER YOUR INFORMATION OR CARDS HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Just as many have already pointed out, this is a company that you should stay away from. I paid for a one-time template that I made using their website which I think was fair. Seven days later, without any prior notice and without my authorization, they took additional 40 Euros. Of course, a refund is not an option. Be careful and do not use this website. Moreover, the templates that they provide have awkward spacing and have very low flexibility to make adjustments. Overall, terrible experience.
I did a 5 day trial from this company 7 months ago and low and behold, what's this? A charge on my checking account for $59.99. I didn't agree to this. But this is what they do. Scum bag department.
Seriously scammy, spend an hour making resume and then it makes you pay if you want to use it... which of course you want to use it, you spent an hour making it, but screw them. Only a terrible product needs to trick you into buying it.
A great website to develop a professional resume. Many designs to choose from which gives you an updated resume which can stand out with your application. Easy to complete. Easy to update as you gain additional skills or credentials. Good customer service from the company.
I used it on 4/23/2021 for about $3. Then, I have been deducted again twice today on the 05/01/2021 without mypermission/Authorization for another $19.95 + $19.95 = $39.90 within the same month. This is purely fraud and doing scams with the customers who are willing to create their CV. Please report this company and do not trust this website. The is really a big trap for customers do not fall for it and report as much as you can. This is my humble request.
I got my money fully refunded from CVmaker when I had enquired about the wrong Subscription.

Dont ever try to ruin your peacefulnes and safety by submitting your bank details.
They will loot our money by saying we have agreed for subscription which had been done in a very fraudster way.
First they ask our consent for trial of 2.95 USD
Then they loot monthly from our bank Account around 1600 INR saying that we agreed for subscription which obviously we won't subscribe after seeing their trial access.
Lastly they won't respond. Even if my respond, it will be so arrogant like "Do whatever you want"
They will loot all our hardearned money and will talk to us rudely. Who wants to face all this?
I didn't sleep peacefuly for last 3 days and I'm writing here to warn you with my experience

They fraud people. This company withdrew my money without my verification, using my data for illegal transaction in their favor.
CV maker is a scam. There is no free CV. You will spend time making your CV and than will be asked to pay a one time low fee. You decide to pay since you spent all this time to make the CV and than 8 days later they charge you a huge subscription fee which you never agreed to. Paypal will not refund your money. They dont seem to care. This is 100% a FRAUD. Beware do NOT USE THIS SITE. They have various websites (. Uk,. Nl,. De,. Dk, etc.) they all pull the same scam. This company should be shut down by the authorities.
I used this site to write a resume. When I finished writing the resume the site requested $1.95 to download or print it, so I paid that fee. On a Google Search the site is represented as free site. It did say that I had 7 days free trial then it was going to cost $59/month after that. It also stated that I could cancel anytime. When I printed the resume part of it was not included. I tried to contact the company for assistance, but I never could get through either by phone or email. After doing a review search of ResumeBuilder and saw the other reviews on this site, I called my bank and had to cancel my credit card to get out of further payments. No one from ResumeBuilder ever responded to a phone call or an email in two days, so I doubt if they would have cancelled any subscription to their site. I was lucky to get out of there for only $1.95.
Calling the feds on these guys. 2 months frad billing at 24.95. Don't give them anything. Crooks, I'm going to hunt them down
I signed up for a 7 day $1.95 trial. Not at any point did I sign up for a longer trial. I gave permission only for a one off $1.95 payment. Not for the $59 AUD they STOLE from my credit card. After asking for a refund they refuse, even though I haven't used their service. Nicolas Cohen is a rude, arrogant customer service representative. Whatever you do, don't even risk signing up for the $1.95 TRIAL. This company needs to be investigated. My bank have confirmed this company has been reported in the past for fraudulent transactions... so why refuse to refund me? If my bank don't contact you, the coppers will.
I thought I was just using a one time resume template for $1.95. I was duped and found a $59 (!) charge on my credit card. I contacted customer service and they won't reverse the charge even I told them it wasn't my intention to have a membership nor was it clear what was happening. (This was for a volunteer job!) Irritated. Beware about what you are getting into!

I signed up with $1.95 for 14 days trial, on 9th day I was charged $29.80 for monthly subscribe. I called customer service within 14 days for cancellation, I was told there will be only portion refund, not a full refund. That is true, it is a scam website, just as other reviewers stated.
I signed up for a 14 day trial for $1.95 thinking I would be able to use the templates and resources given for 14 days and that would be it. Two months later I see a charge for $40 on my statement that I had no idea what it was for. I call the customer service number and was told that I was charged because I did not cancel my subscription. I told the lady Theresa Valde (who was very rude by the way) that I only signed up for $1.95 14 day option. She basically said there is nothing that could be done and I should have cancelled it. Ask to talk to a supervisor and apparently that was not an option. Who in their right mind would pay $40 to use some templates?! If something says $1.95 for 14 days that is what you expect you be paying for! I do NOT recommended dealing with these people
