Completed a $120 study through Respondent.io on April 2,2025, and more than four weeks later, I still haven't been paid. I was told the payment was "resent" to PayPal on April 23, but it never arrived. I've followed up with support (mostly with a rep named Kris), but the responses have been vague, repetitive, or unrelated — and now I'm being ignored. This is not an isolated case. My March 7,2025 study payment took six weeks to show up. After doing some research, I found other people reporting the same problems with Kris and delayed or missing payments. It feels like they're purposely stalling, and the excuse is always a "platform issue." I contacted the BBB, but they said wage-related issues are out of their scope. So now I'm sharing my experience publicly to warn others. If you're looking to make money through Respondent.io, be aware: Getting paid may take weeks, if at all. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're okay chasing down support for money you already earned.
