I'm named Alexander, I'm 30 years old, and my son, Johny, uses reading plus. I have to admit that this is the worst software I've ever come across in my thirty years of living in England. Delete this intolerable and completely ludicrous software, I almost lost my Johny boy. One day, my Johny was using Reading Plus and had completed his 16 courses. He was heading upstairs when he suddenly collapsed due to stress and anxiety and he smashed his head on the stairs. He has been in a coma for two months I nearly lost my little Johny he is only 9.

This is crap. Please delete this app because I always get stressed out because I have to do this crap every single day, I have clinical depression and anxiety because of the stress, my teacher gives me detention because I didn't complete it, I have nightmares about it, and when I see it I get anxious. I swear to god, I hate it so much, its so stupid I can't use this app anymore. Me and my friends are making a petition to get this stupid app banned from my school so I never have to use this crap again. I had a stroke in my room one day after completing 1 lesson, it makes me suffer, I passed out in my room one day because of how disgusting this app is, I go through sleep deprivation because I stay up all night finishing these disgusting books. I have to be doing reading plus 24/7 so I even take my laptop into the toilet to finish it and one day my laptop fell into the toilet and when I opened it again, my reading plus lessons were gone!

I am a student barley getting by at the end of the day due to stress and this takes it to a next level. I am clinically depressed with no memories and/or happiness in my life. School is the only place I socialize. The English department in most schools assign reading plus. Im normally a hard working student but reading plus always assigns way too much one time I was doing my reading plus then all of a sudden I felt a pain in my chest I passed out and woke up at the doctors.My Friend recalls me saying 'reading plus I need to do my reading plus' while I was being put to sleep in the hospital. My teacher had given me a detention. I hd never gotten a detention before. I cried until my eyes swoll. I didn't go to school for 2 days. I believe this website barley helps with reading. If teachers want a reading platform then I would recommend things like epic reading, or online books. ANYTHING BUT READING PLUS.

Everytime i open this app i wanna die and vomit out my a$$ likee who created this at least try to make it interesting gr gr gr

I feel that reading out is not suitable for children as someone who has had to do it before it has been nothing but dreadful forced to finish it or detention at one point it even made me want to commit suicide because the amount of stress I faced I do not recommend this app for parents

Reading Plus, its SeeReading program in particular, has a rather rigid grading system and a limiting way of grading and "fostering growth" within students. The reading system is particularly obstructive towards academic progression and growth; students are required to set a pace for their own reading and, after it has been set, the program berates students attempting to increase the rate, stating that they are reading "too fast," despite the program's literal purpose of improving reading rates within students. Overall, the program is very contradictory and actually harmful to academic growth for students.

Reading plus is an ugly, boring website that is supposed to encourage children to read. However, the stories are so dreadfully bland and uninteresting that I would be surprised if any child was encouraged to read by this horrible, dreary website.

IT DOESN'T EVEN LET YOU READ FAST IF YOU ARE A FAST READER, I WANT TO READ FASTER YET IT WONT LET ME GO VERY HIGH, ALSO IT MADE MY SISTER COMMIT SUICIDE, THIS #*&%ING APP KILLED MY SISTER AND I WISH NEVER EXISTED. WHY DID YOU DO THIS, YOU MONSTERS, HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO MY FAMILY. NO ONE DESERVES THIS TORTURE. I'D RATHER BE EATEN ALIVE BY BIRDS THAN DO THIS@^$%.

When doing this program, you read an article and answer some questions. However, when you answer the questions it gives a random excerpt from that story that has nothing to do with the actual question. The "ReReads" don't help much either, they also have nothing to do with the question.

Stupid site which has half the words spelt wrong because a bunch of burger eating twats made the site I would rather shove the cold barrel of a shotgun down my throat then do anything on this god forsaken site.

Why do teachers find the need to use this website in the first place? Im a fast reader, which means i have to slow my reading speed way down. This site downplays my reading ability by saying "your reading level is much lower that last time". Bull$#*!. Absolute bull$#*!. I can read 300k+ word books/storys in under 24 hours, and this thing is saying my reading level is "much lower" than last time i did the assessment? This site is a monstrosity to people in school, and should be taken off the internet. It isnt helpful for most people, has nothing interesting for me to read, and downplays/misjudges students reading abilitys. Whoever made this site needs to take. It. Down.

Reading plus is the trashiest reading program for kids.
Students must not only complete the just the story, but also the quiz after the story. If you get a depressing score under 80, that story will not record in the homework bar.
Also, Reading plus should let students choose a wider range of books. If a student likes Civil War, offer more civil war stories to that student, not the same amount of stories that the student does like.

I swear to god before i was introduced to this bull$#*! i was a happy, little girl with the will to live. Now i swear to god i tried commiting suicide like several times, how? You name it! Pills, good old hanging and banging my head against the wall everytime i think of this website i wanna hang myself, id rather have a Magnum Research BFR in. 45/70 7 inches down my throat then read these crappy $#*! stories.
