The overall reputation of Quora appears to be declining, with numerous customers expressing dissatisfaction about the platform's moderation policies and perceived bias in content removal. Many users reported experiences of censorship, particularly regarding political views, leading to frustrations over a lack of open dialogue. Despite these concerns, some users still appreciate Quora for its diverse range of topics and the opportunity to engage with a global audience. However, the prevalence of scams and low-quality content has raised significant concerns about the platform's integrity and reliability, suggesting a need for improved moderation and user support.

Garbage site Quora changed the way to post anonymous answers, it will mail us a link, anyone who has the link can edit the answer.
This is stupid because, what is the purpose of having an account in quora?, if they mail us a link.
Why anonymous answers should be posted independently of the site?
It seems anonymous answers are read by the moderators and banned from visibility, if they appear to be controversial etc.
This site just attract the masses by dumbing down the content quality.
After using Quora for about 4 years, I am disappointed to find that Quora's quality of replies is rapidly decreasing. The power of commercialization..
I agree with every review! Some women came on here literally down talking blacks for not adopting black kids I responded and I was told my comments were against Quora rules? This woman literally admitted that she purposely picks on blacks! Others responded as well! Flagged her comment and still her answer is still posted with 8,000 people liking what she says about blacks... this woman wrote whites were doing blacks a favor by adopting blacks kids? I too think this place should be investigated deleted my app never will look at a Quora answer again!
The sits garbage, all the info is controlled and properganda
Do not use it for answers, yahoos answers are better $#*! even reddit is better. Cus they dont shut you down for what you have to say
If we let such websits violate free speach even if its hate speach, then we are no better then north korea
Cus hate speach is an insite to what the problem is with the world atm.
I accept all hate speachs, cus by god if i have my own hate speach i want to shout it out and vent and let people know.
I even will accept others too, if you hate me fin, rant about it, complain tell me to go and die, idc i rather protect your right to say it then allow others to control you.
$#*! qoura
After a movie review (it seems did not like) Quora say my name is no my name, and has blocked my Profile, you know what quora, last name with a single letter exist. Definitely use your own system and ask about it.
Something about the way the site is structured just bring out the worst in people. The real name policy is seriously a very bad idea for a site like this as it encourages people to play virtue signaling and moral preening all day instead of contributing to the discussion, and do we seriously need even more of that today? The career Quorans are just the worst. It is like today's Twitter but with twice the arrogance (which is saying something) and ten times the word count. All the valuable messages there can sometimes be drowned among the garbage content.
In summary, Quora as it stands now is rife with people of all kinds of problems bringing those problems with them to the site. Some aren't even afraid to show it to the world, which is rather shocking but what's more shocking is the herd of people actually condoning some depraved behaviors there.
Now, imagine a site infested with absurd amount of people who needs 24h butt licking including narcissists, internet thots, and people who brag about how much of an intellectual douche they are gathered in one place. Then add to the injury it is also filled with butt lickers, thot lickers and sapiosexuals BOOM you get Quora. I have quitted Quora and never looked back. The negatives just outweigh the positive and it's such a shame as I've learned a lot from the site.
The only reason why they have any userbase at all, my guess is either they are oblivious to this, or because some of them have their heads sucked too deep into their own rectums they just can't decide which way is out.
In this magnificent place you can observe a community of pretentious people patting each other on the back.
They deleted probably around 100 of my posts, because I included a link in my answers. Which was complely related to the answers I provided. They claimed they don't want people endorsing themselves. Why in the f--k would I answer questions for free, while Quora collects BIG TIME, when I can't even endorse myself. It was a link to something I'd written, which further answered complicated questions. They don't want people directing traffic away from their site, but they have more than enough traffic. And it'll probably cost them in the long run. It's possible they deleted the posts for personal reasons, but regardless they're sick.
It is Americans who support Chinese Communist Party (CCP), against God, against Love, against Humanity. I am very surprised when my ideas against the CCP on Quora are flagged as racist and then deleted. I was also blocked from adding more comments on these statuses. It looks and sounds as a communist forum, administered by CCP. I think our American Government should have an eye on it.
They want you to think you can ask anything and intelligent, knowledgeable will give you the answer. But, the people with thousands of followers will tell you to Google your answer. If you reply back that you knew you could do that, but you thought the purpose of this website was to get a variety of thoughts and opinions, the person who answered will block any comments and his answer. I don't know who moderates this, but they aren't doing a very good job. If Quora wants to make money off this website, they should let us participate. As of now I have deleted the apps from my devices and will Google my answers. I will not click on any answer that links me to Quora. And that's too bad because some of the people have really good answers. But, one bad apple does spoil the whole bunch.
It's only a echo chamber. Bigott and dumb people are writeinge they opinion whitout reasons and if you question then, you will get insultet. When you reports insults, you get banned.
One of my comments got a response basically saying I should bow down to white Americans. I responded with every thing they've done that was bad in the past. All facts that a simple google search can verify. All objective, no insults or anything. And I'm banned from commenting/answering cause I violated bnbr rules. They cannot handle any sense of maturity and people will report u for anything. I don't care if I am banned, the website sucks and so do the people on it.
A few months ago, I posted an answer on Quora that some might find controversial. For several months, they didn't have a problem with it.
Yesterday, though, they deleted my answer for "violating" one of their policies. (I suspect that someone "reported" my answer because they just didn't like it.) Anyway, I appealed, and won. Today, however, they collapsed the very same answer for violating their "Be Nice, Be Respectful" policy (which is ridiculous--my answer is polite and respectful). Anyway, I appealed, and asked them how my answer violates their policy. They totally rejected my appeal with no explanation (obviously because they know they don't have a leg to stand on). Again, I think someone is merely "reporting" my posts because they don't like my opinion--so much for freedom of ideas on Quora.
Also today, they collapsed another one of my answers, and this time there were absolutely no details about why. So, I appealed and asked for clarification of what rule my comment supposedly broke. Well, they simply rejected my appeal without any explanation again.
Anyway, I'm done with Quora. It appears that the deceptive, dictatorial moderators just do whatever they want--they don't follow any logical or published rules. Apparently their BNBR policy actually stands for: "Bully Now, Bully Rigorously." ;) In fact, one person on there hit the nail on the head with this comment:
"In the end, Quora moderation's purpose is to mainly prevent views they don't approve of from becoming visible on the site even when it answers the question fully within their ambiguous BN; BR policy so that they can create an echo chamber where everyone nods and agrees with each other while simultaneously claiming the site is open to all views and opinions (something that they are clearly not, as I and most others have noticed)."
I would recommend staying away from Quora. Or at the very least, don't try to post anything of substance there.
I had answered a topic question about the G7 meeting and it stated that America was the laughing stock of the world. So I copied-pasted a article from WAPO about the democrats and how they were wishing for a recession so President Trump would not be elected. I was replied back from 2 rude people. There was 1 that called me a Trump bootlicker and another that said WAPO didnt report what I copied-pasted. The deleted my comment and I appealed as not even 1 day was still rejected. I would advised everyone not to visit this site or the pleasure of commenting. Your 1st Amendment means nothing to them.
After seeing them attack some of the PragerU videos that are well done and well researched using emotion I've concluded that they are heavily left leaning. They include videos of Prager that I'm guessing they hope you do not watch as when you do, their talking points are shown to be incorrect. If you think PragerU is propaganda as some of the quora people suggest, look up the information yourself... in a library. I do not recommend asking your liberal arts teacher at college
I asked a question, Why do you not drink Alcohol? Moderator changed it too, Why do you drink Alcohol? I changed the question back because it was not the question I asked as then the meaning of my question changed.
The moderator changed the question back to what they wanted to see. It became a power play with words so many times on this site. Some questions never showed up, but someone in the management reposted my question as theirs.
In over a month I was blocked 3 times and when I disputed it, I was told I was blocked by mistake and privileges returned, then now I have been deleted from Quora.
After being told they made a mistake 2 days later I was blocked again and told it was a mistake, I did tell them about discrimination practices and blocking me by mistake I lose making money on the partner program they offered me.
Some of the moderators who monitor, don't have their $#*! together in how to deal with workers, who are working to make money and they act like a boss with judgments and offenses must be punished it is a place of power play with words, you can't ask a real question or seek an answer if the moderator doesn't like it or they can say you said the wrong word or they change the meaning and you get blocked for policy they just added in for the day.
I am sure they get people to work for Quora, block and ban them and use the answers people wrote like myself so they can steal and make money from it, In my opinion when money is involved there is corruption as I noticed my questions and answers were controlled on the partner program.

Quora is owned by 2 FB employees. It's their platform for getting their own rigid beliefs and there.
Quora deserves a zero star, for it is very biased on many issues esp. Political ones, like its widespread one-sided pro-China stance by repeating Beijing propaganda, such as that Hong Kong pro-democratic movements are actually gangsters disturbing law and order, which is a thorough lie fabricated by the dictatorship regime which actually combined force with real gangsters and dictator's gangster-like police using brutal force against millions of students and citizens, who are simply demanding democratic voting rights and continuous rule of a western style independent legal system away from the long reach claws of the dictatorship regime.
I'm from China, know its evil political system well & how the dictatorship uses every opportunity to brainwash and mislead Chinese population to be its puppets. So I wrote a short answer explaining why there's almost no support in China for Hong Kong democratic movements. Quora quickly banned that answer, and dismissed my appeal in the same prompt manner.
It becomes clear to me that Quora is most likely controlled by foreign (read "Chinese dictatorship") influences, as it drools on Chinese hot money. It's certainly a good idea to stay away from this kind of propaganda website. Will delete my account and put the site on my blacklist forever.
Curious, shouldn't anyone from FBI looking to this? Has Quora registered itself according to the Foreign Agents Registration Act?
I would rate it a zero if I could. Quora's moderators are an absolute joke. I had no issues for quite a while. Wrote a good few answers and did my best to keep my answers polite, relevant and non-confrontational. One of my answers, probably my most upvoted one, caught the attention of someone who took exception not to the content of the answer but to how I started it. "I'm trans and etc." That fact was not massively important to the answer but it "was" relevant to it. This individual then proceeded to harass me until he eventually got tired of me not reacting to him. He then deleted all his comments and reported my answer which was subsequently deleted by the mods. Appealing the decision was rejected and they refused to tell me why the answer was deleted beyond "it has been found to violate a policy". If you like living in an echo chamber, Quoras the place for you. If you prefer to be "allowed" to think for yourself, stay very well away.
Long story cut short, I used this site in 2018, when in a difficult personal situation. I was followed by a range of people out of nowhere, they'd add me all of a sudden, sometimes even after I'd posted lots anonymously. People I'd never interacted with at any time. Many. Some bearing my same full first name and last name, people with no history of posting at all. A few days later (less than 15), all my emails were hacked, all of them. I lost Facebook forever, too, as emails were tied in. I got attempts to hack my Facebook and linkedin, very same time. After managing to scramble back on quora with an old login, all "followers" had mysteriously vanished / disappeared! I lost almost all my digital identity on this site... be very careful, as NO recourse and no help will come on quota in case you are attacked or followed.
Answer: Yes, the questions about penis size and virginity seems to sponsor endless discussion!
Answer: Because Google put Quora answers at the top of their search results when people search for a question they see the answer from Quora. Which is stupid because most answers on Quora aren't even correct lol. Idk why Google wants to promote that site, if they own it or they want to buy it and incorporate it into Google at some point. I think the site is awful and it should be shut down because it's just a propaganda site. You do not see Quora from any other search engine for example duckduckgo. But you see it in Google.
Answer: No, it is obviously leftist but it does on occasion allow questions or replies for short periods of time that are obviously uncomfortable to the "politicaly correct" crowd in a useless attempt to appear unbiased.
Answer: I honestly feel and highly suspect from certain traits that Quora pays Google to be high on the rank and they get *buddy buddy* with the government. Quora is essentially too big to fail. We no longer have capitalism but now live under governmentism which Trump pledges to end but can he? Does he really mean what he says? That is the million $ question.
