This site seems like it is a front end for free searches, but every time I ran it the searches used archives.com. Now, archives.com will give you a one-time free membership for 7 days (after which you pay ~$39/year), but the usefulness of this website was dubious.
First, be aware than any search for a living person on archives.com triggers a "Living Person" search which means -- you guessed it -- more fees.
The various searches I ran, which turned up results on yellowpages.com, turned up nothing. So, I don't think this site is worth anything, even if you pay nothing.
I see quite a few sites selling the ability to potentially look up and see if someone has had a criminal record. Most are scams it seems and just out to steal money. This site is a great resource for public records.
