Purchased 1 single tire because my spare had popped. Tire was shipped relatively quick. When I took it to get installed they informed me the tire markings indicated its 3 years old already. Not really planning on ordering from this company anymore since I spent almost $400 for 1 tire to be halfway done with its life expectancy.
We understand where you are coming from, but please know that tires (especially modern ones) do not have any "life expectancy" - all that matters is the condition of the tire, both in the sense of the remaining amount of rubber and the general condition of the tire as a whole. All of the tire we sell are NEW: never mounted, used or modified, without any known or expected issues, kept in climate-controlled warehouses. Most of our inventory is no more than a few months old, but we do indeed keep tires up to 3 years old as well. We earnestly believe that the tire you received will not have any issues related to its "age" and will instead perform well both in the short and long term - otherwise we would not have stocked and sold it! Of course, you can always contact us for any concerns and we'll be happy to investigate.
