After registering my $100 dollar card, i was able to use it once at the gas station. My second attempt, declined and my 3rd attempt declined. Logging back into the website to figure out what was going on, my card showed a zero balance also showing a number of unauthorized charges, leaving the balance at zero. I tried calling the number listed on the website and was on hold for over an hour without a representative ever coming on the line, altough the messages continually loops to say please continue to hold, a representative will be on the line shortly. AS IF. I spent $30 on this $100 gift card and the remaining $70 balance just vanished? Terrible customer service and it is most likely registering in the first place that gives some web hosting crook the information needed to steal your balance. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE THESE CARDS.
I bought two gift card for my children for Xmas. It turns out there is no money on them. I paid $100 each. I called and they keep telling they were used before I purchased not sure how that works. They also said they will send a replacement 3-5 business day. Still haven't received anything. I called today they ask for my address name so they can send another within 14 days. Sad part as a single parent I lost $200 due to gift card scam
I repeat do not put any money into these Visa Gift cards. Trust me I sent out two faxes and these people act like they never received them. They also have the fax containing my Driver I.D., the front and back of the Gift card plus the receipt of purchase, and pretend they never received anything. I believe they only doing 5 percent of legit work to get over but 95% is to get your information to use against you via using your actual debit or credit card. Krogers, Publix, Ingles, Target, Walmart need to take these off their shelves. Thank God I didn't put more than $50 on this card or i would have went hell to high water to get revenge.
Terrible company. Absolutely no help getting funds released from unauthorized charges. It's been 10 days
Total fraud. 2 cards unable to use. Could not register online so I called. They wanted personal information and said I had to fax the receipt and personal ID. SCAM
They sell cards that other people have already hacked into, so your card never works. Then they make you call in and give your information to mail you a new card. They are doing this to harvest information and resell it. They do not comply with CA privacy laws. Total scam.
This is going to be a long review so be prepared. To start off i got this giftcard sealed from my job worth $100. I planned on using this for a little extra Christmas shopping and had everything in the cart ready for check out. When attempting to use the card it declined. Well i thought it was because i was trying to use online and didn't register it. So i go online to register and it says the card was not recognized. So i was directed to speak with a customer service rep. After waiting 30 minutes on hold i finally connected to a live rep whom i couldn't understand because her English was broken. Fine... however she informed me the card had charges on it already from a Cafe not even located in the same state i was in. To make things right she spoke with a sup who couldn't understand how a brand new card was being used before activation. So they decided to waive any fees and expedite a card to me. This took me two weeks to receive the new card which i was told wait 5 business days. I gave it 2 weeks called yet again and they requested another card to me. This was a nightmare in it's own. The rep i spoke with said the card was under a different name. So again spoke with another sup and they determined the rep didn't do her job correctly and was looking at the wrong account. Same day the new card was received which it had already been deactivated. So yet another 2 weeks go by and i finally received the new card. I go to activate it and now it's telling me that the CVV does not match the card! Beyond upset i yet again call customer service and wait an hour to speak with someone. When i'm finally connected I get a young lady named Gene (if that is her real name). She answers the call whispering to someone else and began laughing. I reply to her with Hello at least twice. I understand the job is stressful and sometimes you get caught up in conversation with your peers as i work in the telecommunication business however this was completely professional. She then asked to place me on hold yet another 5 minutes while she collected herself. I explained that the card has the wrong CVV on it and the card wont register. She gathers my information and tells me try again tomorrow your card is locked because you keep putting in the wrong CVV. Okay Gene i have checked my CVV many times and the problem is the card not the way i am putting the info in. I asked for a sup and was denied... First off the agents do not know how to listen. They are completely rude, cut you off, escalate what should be a simple fix and order yet another card. I got irritated at this point and disconnected. My main issue is why it's taking them so long to get their S*** together, put agents on the phone whom speak English and can problem solve and ask the necessary questions. So yet again i will be waiting another hour after work to get this resolved and probably another month to get a card that doesn't work. They were quick to take the money but can't get it right. My advice is to never buy cards from this company
I bought a $25 prepaidgiftbalance visa card today. Went to make some test purchases for 50 cents each. It worked flawlessly the first couple times. Then after I started getting a card not authorized. Tried purchasing a $5 item, cart not authorized. Tried spending the $22 that was left on it and card not authorized.
This is a bull$#*! scam so stay as far away from it as possible.
My dad gave my husband and I prepaid gift cards. You can't log in and everywhere you try and spend them declines the purchase. This is a terrible product. God forbid some parent give one to their child to use in an emergency. These should work just like credit cards. They were impossible to register and impossible to use.
I usually get cards that would make me sign up using this site but a couple of months ago it randomly stopped working. I got one today and forgot the site was broken lol, but you can check balances/register your card using the phone call option :). this is for anyone who is scared they may not be able to use the money in the card. Just call the number on the card (*******536) no talking is required, and I'm pretty sure they're just using pre-recorded lines. I hope this helps. Doesn't change the fact that the website is terrible tho. Anyways shop safely
The &^%$ website NEVER works. It keeps sending you into a loop so that you are never able to check your balance or change your pin. Spoke to their customer service several times and they just give lip service that they are "working on it" but in fact nothing gets done.
Transaction failed as debit card then cashier accidentally hit charge card and it went thru without a hitch!
Customer service speaks very little English in a very rude unprofessional manner. They will not let me have my money back for 15 days screwing me out of my grocery and medicine money causing me to suffer with no food and no medication. Why is the call center in China instead of the United States? If you are a proud American citizen, maybe you should do business with American companies because this company has royally screwed up my life and I worry about others getting screwed over by this shady policy company. I am now begging for food from family and friends!
I got a $50 dollar gift card for my birthday and the first $20 worked fine but after that my card got stolen and I tried to call them and they helped me but as soon as I ended the call I went to go and check my balance which was 30$ and my account wouldnt let me back in. It was a total scam. Never using this card company again!
Also a very sketchy website and customer Service.
Well the card seems to differ from vanilla or other types of prepaid mastercards that I've purchased in the past which were ready to use upon purchase. I purchase the giftcards because as a rule they can usually forgo the hassle of registration and activation which requires personal info. Name, address, phone, as do the regular prepaid debit cards. However this type of giftcard which is offered by US Bank indicates that if you desire to use the card for online purchases you should register the card in your name at www.prepaidgiftbalance.com. Which I did promptly and still the two attempts I made to use the card online were declined. Personally I will pay more attention on my next giftcard purchase and attempt to purchase the vanilla or other providers cards.
I CAN NOT GET MY MONEY OFF THE CARD! So, how nice it that you receive a gift card or better yet you gave a gift card that can not be used. No matter how you try to register it the website informs you the card is invalid. Invalid, with cash on the card make for a super scam! YOU MUST HAVE MADE A KILLING DURING CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY! I JUST WANT MY FUNDS OFF THIS CARD! IF YOU WANT PROOF CALL ME, I AM NOT SUBMITTING IT HERE.
If you happen to enter your phone number when entering your other contact info which is all required to use your card for online purchases (it doesn't say which are required on the site, but it's mentioned in the super-fine print in the paper manual with the card)... you might miss this warning... THEY WILL SPAM YOUR PHONE IF YOU INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND NO WAY TO OPT OUT. SLEAZY LAW-BREAKERS!

Terrible site that rarely works when activating card or checking balance. VISA gift cards are a scam in general-- it is very difficult, especially when shopping online, to combine with another payment method, since it is treated as a credit card in online checkout. Therefore, when your balance drops to a relatively low amount, you can either purchase an Amazon e-gift card for that exact amount, or throw the card away. I suspect many people simply choose the latter-- a clever and disgusting scheme by VISA, who proceeds to keep all of that unused "gift card" money.
The records on the card said it was only charged $100 and then a month later most of the money the money was all spent at a CVS...
I have two $100 cards that have never worked and they won't help! Multiple hours of phone calls and faxes and they want my receipt from 2019 when I got these as gifts! They told me there is nothing they can do. SCAM! Terrible customer service!
