I ordered and received in a few days, the Progressive Dynamics 9260 Converter/Charger. After opening the box, I was dismayed to not find the Remote Status Pendant - Charge Wizard. I researched the website before my purchase and even watched the video. Nowhere on the website did it say, "sold separately" "purchase separately". In fact the below comment is pasted from PPL's website with regards to this separate attachment;

"Remote Status Pendant - Charge Wizard
(*The Wizard is built in the 9200 series and available separately for the 9100 series.)
The Converter Status Remote Pendant PD******* is designed to plug into the standard accessory port on all models of the Inteli-Power 9200 Series Converters. The Converter Status Remote Pendant shows the charger/converter operating mode and allows for manual mode selection. Part #55-0579"

As you can see, it states "available separately for the 9100 series). Now whether they mean the Wizard or the Remote Status Pendant, that is not clear. But my question would be; how would you know what 'operating mode' of charging you were in along with the ability to manually change the mode unless you had the pendant?
To further convince me that the remote should have been included with my purchase; When I reviewed the product information/instructions that came with the converter, it specifically states that the Pendant is included with all retail models of the 9200 series.
After confirming with product data I promptly sent an email to PPLmotorhomes.com after receiving the package (less remote pendant) advising of this situation. It has been over a week now, with no reply. I called PPLmotorhomes on Monday, spoke to parts who then transferred me to the online sales manager. That transfer went right to voicemail. I have had no call back since.

Bottom line... I would not use this online business as they practice in deceptive advertising as well as take advantage of selling something separately to the consumer, for $8.72, that which should have been included with the converter, according to Progressive Dynamics.
