My experience with POVISON has been one of the most frustrating online furniture purchases I have ever dealt with.
I waited several weeks for a side table advertised online as having a rich walnut finish. What arrived looked nothing like the website photos. Instead of walnut, the table had a light honey/yellow-orange tone that clashed badly with the rest of my furniture. The difference was so significant that I initially thought the wrong finish had been shipped.
After multiple emails and photo comparisons against their own website images, the company eventually agreed to a full refund. However, the return process became an ordeal of its own.
Customer service is not U.S.-based and communication only seemed to happen overnight, meaning every response added another full day to the process. I was required to take and submit multiple rounds of photos, completely repack the table using all original materials, and then wait additional days while they "reviewed" the packaging photos before even issuing a return label.
The pickup process was even worse. The freight company showed up on the wrong day, then repeatedly changed the pickup time throughout the day — noon, 2 PM, 4 PM, 6 PM, then possibly 7 PM — forcing me to waste an entire day sitting at home waiting. Because POVISON required a signature for pickup, I could not simply leave the package outside and continue with my own responsibilities and errands.
At every stage, the process felt unnecessarily difficult, slow, and exhausting. While the furniture may look attractive online, buyers should be aware that the actual finish color may differ substantially from the product photos, and resolving problems can turn into a lengthy and frustrating experience.
