Full of females who are probably 3|10 at the very best, yet somehow act like they are 10|10 models. That's the problem and why this online will never work. If they accepted they are 3s not 10s maybe they would get a date.

They talk about 'refusing to settle' and how they 'know their worth' and other nonsense they've read in a magazine. They also like to say how if they don't reply it's because you're not their type. I found it quite sad to see such hostile attitudes and picky women who really had no right to demand anything. They want too much and offer too little... Sorry not for me

They all seem to have tons of offspring, smoke, have more tattoos than sailors and are out of shape (or plus size as they say) yet expect the guy to be absolutely perfect! It's like an episode of the Twilight Zone

POF is loaded with fake profiles and Nigerian scammers. You're lucky if 5% of the women on POF are real. Use POF at your own risk, because you'll get scammed.

First off, Plenty Of Fish is not everybody's mother. I find that the people that run the website limits who gets to message who by putting a age limit range and I find that you cannot message anybody around 10-15 years older or younger than yourself. Also what bothers is that POF is so easy to listen and believe in the little complaints and hand out easy profile deletion and ban very quickly without giving warnings.

I wouldn't bother evening filling out a profile

All the messages I got couldn't even make an effort with their opening message and then I had to do all the talking as they couldn't or wouldn't keep the conversation going. The ones who said don't just message Hey were the very ones who sent me a message just saying Hi

Most of the females on there you are not blessed with even average looks and one would think they might make it up for it by having a good sense of humour or being nice or having a good personality but no chance. All I saw was negativity and complaints on the profile. Don't message if you lie or cheat said one (as if men reading that would think okay best not message then) and all the others just had negative vibes. They didn't seem to care about what the men might think and obviously never heard of creating a good first impression--We all have baggage but is it really a good idea putting it on your bio for all to see how bitter you are? My children and cats and dogs and friends will always come first was what I saw a lot

Don't get me started on the silly lists, don't message if you like more than 10 miles away, don't message if you are under 6 foot, don't message if you have brown hair etc etc etc. In reality they should be grateful to get any men message them and shows how out of touch they are putting barriers up

You get what you pay for (FREE) although I doubt the women are any better on paid for sites but this POF really is full of the very low class, a terribly low standard of females. You wouldn't take any of these to meet your mum that's for sure. They would spend all their time cussing or showing your mum their tattoos

All of the females have seen better days yet I lost count the number of times they all said they want someone who is tall plays rugby and who will be their prince, so they dont want much? None of them said what they would offer the prince, its all about what they want

If you actually find a decent woman she will have kids and makes it clear that her kids/cats/dogs and everyone else will come before you

They all seem totally obsessed with height, hundreds of profiles when they are just 5'2 tall and say unless you are 6'1 or taller dont contact them. Can you imagine them saying that in a bar?

When you finally find real women you'll soon wish you hadn't. Very disappointing standard to say the least. The funniest thing is they all want a male model with whom they have a connection with. Don't they realize a male model wouldn't need to be on here? None of them want normal they all demand absolute perfection. With what they're offering in return they have no chance

I have experienced several men that lie and womanize Roccotheitalian…. He used me he lied numerous times he has he wants marriage HE DOES NOT it's all a way to manipulate women I have told you what these men have done they still have an account that is open and doing it to others …. How dare POF not believe the female getting ready to notify someone from ME TOO! Do something about these men

The guy that runs this site... and there are so many fake profiles. I've just asked for my money back, yet again. I think he's 38, and bought this site from the other guy that now owns a wine production factory in Canada. I get nowhere on this site, and I'm totally honest about everything I write... I've been told to post a photo of myself next to a corvette, that lots of young women would write me... but I can't do that. Women can post photos of themselves in bikini's, but men can't have their shirts off and they can't have anything but there face showing... I'm good looking, I've been told that, I'm also quite bright, not a good thing.

Ive been using this site since 2010. Its 100% free to use unless u pay for the optional extra features.

Never been scammed on there.

They even have a section on their for members to organise parties u can sign up to and go for free. But that function isnt working right now due to the covid restrictions.

I went to a few of the meetups. My local 1 was at a bowling ally and all we had to pay for was drinks from the bar or if we wanted to bowl which was at a discount due to being a group booking. But entry to the bowling ally was free.
Also went to a pub in a city not far from me as 1 member was holding a birthday party for himself and it was my birthday the same day. As a group of us were going from the same city we hired a mini bus to take us their and bring as back again. And split the cost between us.

Ive never met anyone on there except at the group meets. But thats cause im too shy to send msgs to the women i like or my matches and wait for them to msg me 1st. But ive never met anyone from any of the dating sites im on.

If u use a pay dating site be prepared to get scammed as only the paid for sites scam u the free ones dont.
Yes u might get members on the sites try to scam u but the free sites do watch out for that and kick them off once reported which the pay to use sites dont.

No decent woman is going to come on PoF so all you find are the ones who are not very good quality (and thats being polite).

The weird thing is despite the fact they are all not very pretty, chubby and have tons of children and other baggage they somehow think they are a great catch and demand only the finest men available. You couldnt make it up

An absolute pitiful depressing experience, full of the uncouth rejects of society

It is now Feb 2022. I have been on and off POF since 2015. Mostly off as I work full time (professional career field). I have seen numerous women, (60%) with the same pictures today as in 2015. Wow, that's eight (8) years! Plus how long have those pictures been on since I first saw them. That concerns me regarding "reaching out" to them. Apparently they do not care about their profile as they show no concern about updating it. And yes, they show "on line" so it's not like they have left the site years ago. I have met several women on POF. I am not looking for marriage and NO, I am not a serial dater. I have never been scammed nor had a woman ask for money. The majority of women I have met (85%) look like their pictures. I have read some frightening, negative reviews and believe each one is true. I consider myself lucky thus far and do my "homework" before meeting. Best of luck in all your online dating endeavors.

I eventually found a couple of profiles that seemed reasonable and messaged them. The first went berserk at me simply because I missed a letter from her name and then second one just blocked me after I sent her a pleasant message. What the heck is wrong with them? Talk about attitude problem

Rest of them were not very good-looking, had too much baggage and seemed very bitter and vengeful towards men. I guess they can have an attitude because they know they'll get messages from needy men

There will be good women about still just not online dating. They all seem messed up or just plain nasty online

They all look like extras from Hills Have Eyes and lack basic intelligence. They have 10 tattoos, 5 children, 4 chins and a chip on each shoulder yet act like they are deserving of a David Beckham lookalike.

They all complain that they don't have the meet me option (God forbid they might pay) and love to tell you how wonderfully independent they are and how you must be nigh on perfect to contact them.

It's a shocking calibre of women. It's the bottom 5% of women who all seem to be holding out for the top 5% of men

What's all this refusing to settle I keep reading? The women saying this have multiple kids out of wedlock and are way past their best. Yet they're not prepared to settle. Deluded much?

Seems that the women all want men way out their League. Lots of 2s wanting a man who is a perfect 10. They demand everything but have nothing to give apart from tattoos and attitude

98% do not respond to " hi, liked your- whatever you read in their profile" they delete it some read, and then delete. After being on this site for 60 days 2021-22. I can honestly say it is not worth the money. If you do not become a full paying member, you will never know who you are writing to has been on the site. Until you check your sent box and for me out of 40 sent messages the longest on was not on this site for 198 days, the shortest one 16 days not read. Why would you want to send a message to some that have not been active on the site for 45-198 days. Why? Cause POF is only interested in your $$$$$. Don't join OkCupid either-big waste your $$$$$- take yourself out for a nice dinner. I am done with an American woman who is online and since I am a nice guy I say how I really feel about them. There are no pictures to show.
