One profile summed it up, she was late 40's and very average looking indeed, she said that there has to be s~~ual attraction when she looked at your pics and if there wasn't any she wouldn't reply. Imagine thinking that's an appropriate thing to put. The irony being was I doubt many men would have found her attractive, the delusion and entitlement factor is ridiculous

I have no kids and no family. Found women who have 9 grandkids were interested in me, but found in my age bracket there were only 53 women without kids or grandkids. Even had one not attractive woman in my age bracket tell me I was limiting myself by asking for a woman with no kids and no grands as they are called on their. Gee, I am the one who paid for the membership? After 2 months of getting matched up with smokers as I quit in 83 and having young women in their 20's saying they were 50-60's I deleted it today. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I HARDLY consider that "LIVE" Customer Support. Nothing pisses me off more than a FAKE-$#*! Company! I went to log into my account, that has had the EXACT SAME Password that it's had since I made the acct, and POF Stupid f-ing Stundos are TELLIING ME. The owner of the acct, that my password is WRONG! UMM, NO! It isn't. Your website just has soooo many f-king glitches in it. It's probably not recognizing it b/c #1 I haven't logged in in a while, and #2 ur admins are as stupid as the site itself! If I would have ACTUALLY been ABLE to chat with a LIVE AGENT. Like POF SAYS YOU CAN. This issue would've been resolved in about 3-minutes! BUT NO. Those fk-ing BONEHEADS want u to send them a "message" where they pick out the fk-ing questions and answers FOR YOU. Like you're too $#*!ED to type what you want to say in the empty, but blocked-greyed out box PROVIDED, but can't fk-ing TYPE ANY LETTERS IN IT! STUPID FKS!

So I tried Plenty of Fish after several of years being off of this site. I was so disappointed to see so many fake profiles. Pictures included of some of these. It's funny that a site says they have so many members just to gain ranking but in all reality if they took away 50% of the fake profiles the site would be a total flop on ratings.

Spoke to a woman who messaged me using text talk and who said my sport I liked was boring, absolutely no chat or concept of creating a decent first impression. After that I deleted the app

The standard is low, really really low. I think it's the bottom 10% of women all searching for only the top 10% of men. The women seem to lack intelligence, beauty and kindness. They do however posses plenty of baggage, weight and attitude

Oh and there's about 500 men chasing after every woman and half the profiles are blatantly fake. Good luck you'll need it fellas

The developers of this app got bored a long time ago and just left it running for the cash. There are no real people on here, don't waste your money.

They took my money but when I went to unhide my profile it won't let me. I called POF and the lady on the phone was ghetto, nasty and told me she would delete my profile. I had to call apple for a refund- hope it goes through because I will fight these creeps! Don't sign up for this one- or try and co tact them before you do- smoke in mirrors!

There must be 500 men for every woman so they get totally overrun with messages from desperate guys.

The problem is that the women are all of an absolutely dreadful standard. The real undateables, But they get so many messages they think they are a catch and develop an attitude. They are all 2s yet with all the attention they start thinking they are 10s and want a 10 themselves. It really is pitiful tbh.

I am 70, male, have a degree, widowed, physically fit and financially secure (I put this in my profile). I have been on and off POF about 5ish years. I work and my work takes me out of town thus I don't have the phone app nor do I want it so I use my home laptop... anyhoo, I have met/dated appx. 10+ women on POF. I have never had a bad experience, never met a woman that did not look similar to her photos (maybe a few pounds more or a little older) however fortunately no horror stories to tell. It normally is chatting on the site followed by exchanging text numbers, then texting, then talking then meeting. By then you should have a gut feeling if all is on the up and up.

POF is filled with fake pics, fake profiles, bots, and scammers.

People to try to get us to spend more money. The reason I say this is because it was IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to meet in person... they always had a million excuses as to why they couldn't meet.

Be careful on here. I tried to reply to someone I finally liked and my phone & laptop wouldn't let me send the message to him. My phone and laptop got crazy hot and I contacted support but a auto reply is all I got no real answer. I am steady getting message thst I cant reply too. Then I noticed they want me to uograde. Upgrade... but I've been on here all week without having to. The last time I put my card info into pof in 2018 my card got hacked by someone in the support team... please watch out. This could turn into a pof lawsuit if it happens to enough people

While I certainly cannot say it is the best site for online dating I cannot also say it the worst. It is just not for everyone.

There are too many in their late 30s/40s who still act like they are 20. They come across as entitled spoilt brats demanding you read their profile and adhere to their every demand

The thirsty men have to take their share of the blame. Most of the women are extremely unattractive yet have a ridiculous attitude. If men weren't messaging them they wouldn't have the entitlement

There is not much of a screening/verification process to prevent this. Also, I have specified I only want people in my area yet often get ones outside. I really am tired of having to get a message, click on profile only to find that they live too fsr away. Last, pictures are quite outdated in some cases.

1st time back on here since 2015 and unbelievably it's gotten even worse! The women all in their 40s with tons of baggage yet remarkably keep talking about refusing to settle and how they know their worth and other nonsense. They're absolutely insane

Saw a lot of people that were on back 7 years ago and they still have the same photos up! The only thing that's changed is they've become even more choosy. If you're on a dating site for 7 years maybe it's not the men that's the problem?

POF is ok for showing you people however they only show you who THEY want to show you. You can't look up people in your area. They won't show you that at least under a free membership and that's what I'm rating is a free membership. The women today and this isn't pof's fault but the women today are only after the very top 5% of men the very rich and very handsome or one or the other if they settle. So as far as finding a date that just doesn't want to use you for the price of a free dinner well then you better be in that top 5% or your won't even get looked at. Also they have a meet me feature that you can use but they won't show you who likes you unless you pay them. But if you match with someone like you like them and they like you they will show you that under matches... but these women generally won't answer you if you write them... guess they like your look but not your finances. They will tell you that someone likes you but they blur their picture... but you can see them enough to see that they won't show you that person that likes you in the meet me feature... which I think is a really shty thing to do.

This site SUCKS. There are more scammers than real profiles. I have had conversations with eight men so far. Only one of them was a legitimate profile. Unlike other sites POF does nothing to protect their members. They should let their members know if they had contact with any of these thieves. They are awful!

I dont understand why men message the females on here. They are all 2/10 at best yet think they are perfect 10s. They are incredibly rude and dont even try to be friendly on their profiles

Every single mum in the world seems to be on here and they all have OTT demands, they are mostly all overweight, they smoke and have more tattoos than teeth yet demand Mr Perfect who must be over 5'10 tall
