What is it PLOS?
All know "Nature" or "Science". PLOS is the same, but it is an open access journal.
What it means? It means that you can read all their articles without pay, without any kind of subscription. It is the science for all.
But who pay the article? In few words the authors. When authors submit their work, and it is accepted, they have to pay a fee for publications.
Any way PLOS is an high level scientific journal, all its articles are peer reviewed (checked by scientist), and it propose article in all field of science.
