Money, money, money.

That's what POF is all about now. It's owned by the same people who run MATCH.COM. So what do you expect? Years ago POF was a very good dating site. 100% totally free. Markus, the guy who created POF, made all his money off advertising back then. And he made millions. Then he sold it. That was the beginning of the end for POF. Now, in its present form? Garbage. Everything's about tricking and baiting you into being a paying user. Without paying? It's more aggravating than anything else. Not at all worth the time or effort. Gimmicks, teasers and flat out lies and deception. Just anything to get your credit card info. 1/3 to 1/2 of the profiles in my age group (60+) have 'temporarily disabled messaging'. I'm convinced those are old inactive accounts still being posted to pump up the search results. Or people who've simply given up and not bothered to delete their account. If you don't count the disabled messaging and those who haven't been on recently or for God only knows how long? You're down to not really many good prospects at all. And they have the temerity to ask for money for this? What incredible money grubbers.
