BEWARE - DO NOT BUY!
September 12, 2015

I wish I could rate lower than 1!

This site is based in China and have noticed many similar reviews to what I experienced! I bought a knife (CS: GO) for $200.00 and I escalated the item to their higher up so they could make the final decision as the seller had scammed me. The customer service chat kept saying to wait 2 days because they told the mediation team to reply. After 1 week, I myself contacted the team and no reply. However, when I opened a case through PayPal against PA, they immediately responded through email. Then I started complaining and they suspended me of their site! BEWARE! I have a strong feeling they are helping sellers scam customers on the site. I had been scammed there $10 before and they had done nothing! Also this is a very big warning that the seller does not receive any money! PlayerAuctions keep it on hold till we clarify delivery and it clearly shows they just took out money as the seller can't keep and I don't have the ability to take my money back unless I report to paypal! Shows how big of a scam they are! So basically anyone who opens a case will be ignored and they will keep the money! This happened to me with $10. However if a seller refunds you, then its good as I did buy one other which i didn't like and the seller accepted refund. PlayerAuctions = SCAM!

PlayerAuction's business process is legitimately flawed and at a first glance it may seem like it is reliable but please do not believe that for one second. Let me explain, from a seller's perspective.

As a former seller before my account got suspended, I was at 100% seller feedback with over 20+ transactions as verified buyer/seller. One day, while I was trying to post an offer for sale, I noticed that I couldn't. I contacted their customer support and they had said that a game account that I sold had been reclaimed. And please believe me when I say that I am 100% sure the account did not get reclaimed back by me or anyone else I am completely honest. Anyways, I provided them with the necessary information and proof that I did not reclaim the account and I got my account re-activated. Here's where the totally fishy and unethical part comes in. Right after I sold a product to a customer on there for over $150 USD, my account got instantaneously suspended. What's better? PlayerAuctions holds the money that you make as a seller for 3-5+ days. So now that my account is suspended, I will not get that disbursement until my account is re-activated. Guess what? It's been weeks now and I have not heard back from them after contacting them about the case. They literally stole $150 from me. I am 99% certain that this way a way to get back their lost from an account reclamation that had buyer's insurance on it. However, they have no protection for fraudulent activities on the behalf of the buyer. Someone could buy something from you and report and say that it got reclaimed and PlayerAuctions will get back to you and PUNISH YOU the SELLER for it with no proof that you claimed anything back. Also as a buyer, I would recommend you not get any insurance for anything that you buy on there because trust me by the way they have shown themselves to me, you are not getting any reimbursement.

As a honest review and opinion, do not buy anything big on there or sell anything on there. This is a highly unethical company with good words but broken promises.

This site is great because it compares a bunch of different gold sellers and gives me accurate prices of the gold that i want to buy. If i want to talk to the seller directly, I can because of the messaging system that they have come up with. I've used this site a number of times and it hasn't failed me yet. Other websites don't let me use paypal because they 'lose' money but unlike them, player auctions does let me.
Would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting game gold.
A+++ website

ORDER ID# *******

So I bought an account off this site with no insurance. Seller reclaimed after I had left feedback. I wasn't eligible for a refund. Fair enough. I asked PA to let me change my feedback. They didn't even respond. So I decided to try again with insurance.

I bought the insurance for my next account. Again, after leaving feedback, seller reclaimed. I asked for a refund. I filled all the entire lengthy form that they require you to fill out. I waited days without response. I asked them what was going on. All they would tell me is it's in process. Waited longer. I asked again. No response. I ask again. I wait longer. Weeks later, they send me the same form I had already filled out weeks prior. I told them I had already filled it out. They didn't respond so I told them to go $#*! themselves.

This website is a scam. There is no accountability whatsoever. They take your money then play stupid when you get screwed over. The insurance doesn't do anything and the customer service is nonexistent. When you have a question all they do is give you a standard response like "it's in process." If you email them then they don't even respond at all. I've only had one problem at epicnpc.com, and they banned the scammer. I suggest going there instead. PA never even punished this guy.

If a PA rep responds to this review, I will post screenshots of the entire email log that shows their nonresponse and poor customer service.

As proof that this website is a scam, I'm including the ID number of my order: *******. I can guarantee you that their customer service will not respond to this review as he has multiple others, or he will lie and say that I never reported it. Here is proof that I submitted the request and that they simply ignored it: http://imgur.com/SgesrRi

I have been scammed by a buyer who cancelled the offer after receiving the virtual good. The support team does not do anything, even when I provide a solid proof (chat log with the buyer, saying he received the item, a clear video of me giving my virtual good to the buyer) and yet they give the money to the buyer then does not even say anything back to me even when I sent an email with the evidence. They don't care about their customers getting scammed or not, instead they help scam them. Never use this site, u will one day get scammed.

I lost 6 Euros when getting a refund on my transaction.

Keep in mind 3 things:
1. Transaction reliability is completely up to sellers - the website staff cannot do a thing to enforce delivery of goods. They can only enforce a refund.
2. PAYPAL IS NOT AN OPTION for most of digital goods. The website claims to have paypal, but it is not available during checkout...
3. If your currency is not USD you WILL lose money when you get a refund.

The longer story:
I bought some digital goods worth 50$ and the seller did not respond. No problem, I can just get a refund, right? Sort of... partially...

There is no convenient way to pay for "free" - thats right, unless you use an e-wallet that you've never heard of, you have to pay for every transaction.

Now this is where absence of paypal comes in.
Paypal offers several handy options that prevent you from paying for nothing if you get a refund - If you get a refund money simply returns to paypal account.

With options Player Auction has, I paid 5% tax (to god knows who) for processing the payment, so 2.5$ just for sending money. Bank exchanged currency on way out so here's another payment and, if you're unlucky enough to need a refund, don't forget the backward currency exchange on refund.

Finally, time for a refund: On the way back of the 50.2 euros (52.5$) i payed I received around 44 euros back.

The website may be a legitimate business, but be ready to lose a % of your payment on refund.

As for their "live" support... I asked "How long does the order cancellation option remain after placing an order?" a fairly simple question if you know anything about this website, i thought. It took me about 5 minutes to get an operator to connect to live chat and another 3 minutes or so to get any kind of reply and about 8-10 more minutes to get an answer. (15-20 minutes in total)

Stay away

Their mediation team is to say the least absolutely horrible. I've been going back and forth with them for over a month now trying to resolve a simple refund.
I've been forced to take it up with Paypal and they have chosen to ignore me while I have been very friendly and tried to fix the matter at hand in a nice way.

I've used this website several times, and it can be great. However, I had an incident and am now coming up on my second week of waiting for it to be sorted out. PlayerAuction's customer service is arguably the worst that I have ever experienced. While this website can be quick and easy, do not be surprised if you never see your purchase and get ignored when escalating issues to their "moderation team".

NOTE: Don't purchase anything from the seller "kwen". He has no interest in sorting out any bumps along the way.

Trust the other reviews below. This site is a complete scam. A "seller" scammed me out of $300+ and when I complained to the so-called "customer service", they suspended me from the site. Needless to say, they never returned the money despite their supposed "vetting" service; when I cordially notified them that I would be pursuing further legal action, their juvenile reply was "Goodluck :)" (verbatim). I repeat, do NOT purchase from this site for your own good; if you must buy items or gold, trust other online sellers with well-earned reputations.

I got scammed
June 18, 2015

Bought an account, everything seemed legit, after 3-4 weeks, password stopped working, and I could see it had been played on by someone else than me through a online stat tracking site.

I contacted support, was told by the chat guy to write an email, but as lots of other people state in their reviews nothing will happen from doing this anyways.

Avoid this site
