Due to the quick turnaround time stated on their website, I ordered 5 large frames in which I chose 2-day shipping and paid an oversized assembly fee of over $200. It took over a week just for shipment plus two of the frames came damaged. I called customer service to get them replaced and if possible to expedite the order. It took about another two weeks to get my replacement in which that also came destroyed. At this point I was frustrated as it was impacting my business. I called customer service again to have them replaced and asked that they overnight them through a different courier (FedEx or UPS) as XPO Logistics was delivering them in terrible conditions. Not sure if it was XPO mishandling, PictureFrames poor packaging, or both. I was told that they couldn't do FedEx and if they did UPS, the frame had to be unassembled but that it was easy to put together. Because I needed these frames two weeks ago, I agreed with their suggestion. However, because I ended up having to assemble them myself, I asked if I could get a refund for the oversize assembly fee. The customer service rep said that it needed to be reviewed and approved by the manager, Stephanie, and that they would let me know. A week passes by and didn't hear anything back. I called back several times and was given the excuse that the manager, Stephanie, had either left for the day, was out of the office or that she had noted she will call me back by end of day. It's been weeks now and have yet to hear back!
As a small business in home interior design that is growing, looking to build and establish relationships with new vendors, it is quite disappointing. One simple call to just hear out the customer's issue and provide a solution to a problem is not difficult. Had I heard back to address the issue, I probably would have continued to order from them but due to poor business management, their products are not worth it. Not worth the hassle.
I just received my pictures today. I must admit after reading the reviews i was apprehensive i spent a good chunk of change on what i wanted and happened to read reviews after my purchase.
I opened the boxes., which were packed and crated beautifully and to my shock
STUNNING.
The frames were high quality and exactly what i had picked. The stretched canvas pictures were gorgeous and the pictures i ordered with no glare glass perfect. The processing time was quick like... 2 weeks.
I did a great deal of "comparison shopping" and the 25% off coupon saved me a great deal of money for very similar frames and selections.
Would I do it again? In a heartbeat No complaints here!
After 1 month of waiting for my correct order, it was first sent to the wrong location. After contacting the company they assured me it would be sent to the right place. One week later I received my package and see the attached picture for what I received. This is not what I ordered. I ordered a picture frame with a customized pictured and received this. I am requesting a full refund and will not be returning to this company again for future use.
This company sent me the wrong product and when I called customer service, they asked for pictures to prove it. I immediately emailed all required images that very same day along with my receipt to show the received product does not match what I had paid for. No response except for the automated email saying they received my query. It's been weeks and I have followed multiple times via email asking for next steps - nothing. What a scam. Will never purchase anything from this company again.
This company is incompetent! They messed up my complete order of many frames right before an art show I had and didn't care that they did. They never tried to fix the problem, never called or emailed me with a solution, and didn't give me a full refund, only a partial refund. As you can see by the reviews, I'm not the only one who has had issues with this company. BUY ELSEWHERE!

They recieved my return nearly a month ago according to ups. After calling multiple times I have still not recieved my refund. They keep saying it's processing.
I've ordered three frames back in February and It's now May and I still haven't received them. I was able to get in contact with them once over the past few months but that was due to calling almost daily. They gave me a discount and told me they'd expedite my order but that was a month ago. This place is a total scam. They have my money and I don't have the frames. Please save yourself the headache and go shop someplace else.
Ordered several times; but relevantly - about a year ago, ordered several frames. Unfortunately, one of those frames fell off wall hook last yr, badly bending the frame. I ordered its replacement several weeks ago and paid for it, of course - but from exactly the same PO, and when the frame arrived was off by at least 2" for both the width and height. I talked to their customer service this AM, and with agreement it was their mistake, in order to have a replacement sent, they made it as difficult as possible to proceed. To eliminate their annoying hassle, and get a replacement sent, it will be at my expense with all costs, taxes and shipping borne by me - and yes, it was their fault they couldn't properly understand the concept of frame size and send the right frame, so i wouldn't have to pay for this frame three times.
I ordered more than $1,200 worth of frames for an art show, with a lead time of more than three weeks. I was promised that pictureframes.com could make and deliver these within that time. What happened was, they did not deliver. It's been nearly a month and I still can't get these frames. They won't contact the shipper (they give me the info so they don't have to do anything). They offer apologies, but no so much as a $20 coupon for them screwing up. I've ordered from them in the past, with mixed results. Their prices seem cheap because you get what you pay for. Until you don't even get that. And pictureframes.com doesn't care. Avoid using them!
Ordered an 18 x 24 canvas frame. Frame was in good condition when it arrived but the opening was too large. I called to return it and was told that the actual size of the frame opening was given on my confirmation email. I did not order a 18 5/8 x 24 3/4 frame (there was not option for that when ordering) so I did not think to look for that. My option was that I could return the frame, pay for the return shipping and not get a refund of the original shipping. I just wanted to get a frame that was true to size.
Stay away from this company. It's a big rip off.
I ordered two large picture frames and both arrived severely damaged due to insufficient packaging. A replacement order was shipped and the frame arrived broken in half. Customer service offered me the option of a refund or replacement, I selected refund because I'm not confident that they will be able to ship so the frames arrive in good condition. I have been waiting since February 25th for the refund, and it has not yet come through. Every time I call, Customer Service tells me the refund request remains pending. I ask to speak to a manager and am told all the managers are in a meeting, but they would pass along my information and a manager would call me back. I have yet to receive a call back from any manager, days later. I have also documented via pictures on email and followed up regularly, with no response. It is nearly $500 that is due in refund to me, and I am being stonewalled. As a last resort, I will have to dispute this charge with my credit card company.
Things this website doesnt tell you! Next time, I am encouraging this local store in the neighborhood instead of paying 50$ for customs and clearance.

Frames took forever to get here. When they arrived, i learned that they didn't include a backing or glass, which would have been nice to know before I ordered. (They were kind enough to include a catalog though, in case you're naive enough to order from them again. Lol!) The actual frames are very shoddy quality, super cheap looking with lots of cracks in the paint and very uneven application. I'm trying to get a refund but looking at these reviews I'll be surprised if I get back $50 of my $261 order. Learn from my mistakes and don't waste your hard earned dollars on these scam artists.
I was expecting a lot more quality for the money. The frame looks cheap (5x7) and the photo was dull. I should have look at the reviews first.
I wish I had read the reviews before I placed my order. After waiting 2 weeks I received a completely different frame of what I ordered. I ordered a brushed gold frame and this is what I got. Horrible!

I've done business with them in the past with satisfactory results, but, apparently, in the last year or so, they've devolved into a total scam operation. I placed an order with them for $343, then immediately canceled it over the phone, twice. Both times they said they canceled the order, but they only refunded my account $18. The next day, someone tried to use my credit card for thousands of dollars. They promised to send emails confirming my cancellation, but received nothing. Will never do business with them again.

I bought two frames with triple mats to fit my pictures 14X20 inches.
The mats were not cut correctly and left 1/2 inches gap. I contacted costumer care several time by email and phone. I sent pictures of the frames with my art in showing the gaps and the measurements. I received no answer. It is a disappointment. I spent $ 250 on two frames that i can not use.

I had to return the frame because it didn't specified there was nothing on the back to hold the picture so it was literally just the frame, they said the only charge I'll have is the UPS well couple of weeks later they refund half of my money so i called and ask why and they say because they don't return the shipping cost which was 20$! So not only i had to pay to get it but then to return it and they wouldn't give me back the money i pay for shipping it to me which I'm sure is more expensive that what it cost them.

Shame on me for purchasing from this site before reading the reviews. I never would have paid $100 for two frames that come without glass or backing! It is absurd to me that this is not more obvious when purchasing. When the package came (I did not have extreme delays that other people had), I couldn't believe how light it was and then, I realized it was because there was no glass! I don't even want to give this company more money by trying to get the matching backing and glass.
