Sent £520 iron back due to fault, came back damaged. Happened x2 then radio silence. Ombudsman time

Sent a RRP £520 Perfect Care Elite Plus Steam Iron back due to fault but on its return was scratched. Customer care team(?) denied responsibility but accepted back. On return iron damaged worse than original fault! Philips refused to replace so contacted ombudsman yesterday as no response to a recorded letter signed for by Philips! Dreadful treatment.
