I like the Perricone MD moisturizer and neck cream; however, if you order their promotion, they then start sending you the product automatically. I called to cancel getting the product and it took me almost an hour to get a cancellation confirmation. They offered me discounts to try to keep me on as a customer! I finally told them bluntly that I am canceling now. If you send me any other products, I will not pay for them! It was then thst I got a cancellation confirmation number.

I really thought I would try I order at 7am and then saw the not so good reviews try to call they open at 9 am callled at 9am told the customer service person I think I want to cancel please just placed the order. She said sorry I can cancel future but not this one we shipped. I said I doubt that you just open and I just did unwilling to cancel. I'm still working with credit card to stop payment. They sent out and I ask multiple times for a return slip. They block my email. Not a good company and not worth trying.

Bought: High Potency Hyaluronic Intensive Hydrating Serum, Face Finishing Firmness Moisturizer + Cold Plasma Sub-D
Used: 2 months
Results: No visible change
Other: *Products do not layer well. *They pill and sluff-
*Tried moistening face before applying, used even smaller amts of product with same results.
All 3 products were highly scented and eventually irritated my skin.
Price: Not cost effective for repeat purchase
Summary: Once again a Dr selling snake oil at exorbitant prices.

Hazard ingredients-horrible customer service

I used to like this brand so much, I honestly thought they had best quality until I discovered that the ingredients they are using are actually hazardous and very dangerous to put on your face, not only they are dangerous for your health they cause endocrine disruptions, the main ingredient Butylphenyl methylpropional is also known as LILIAL has been banned in EU because of being harmful to human fertility. Imagine putting this crap on your face every day, trusting these people that they are selling creme to help with wrinkles and stuff but instead you are slowly killing yourself, the ingredients they are using messes with your thyroid, hormones and fertility. I've contacted them to get my refund not only they never opened a claim to at least pretend they care but also they refused to refund my money I paid to them. I am reporting them to BBB

This company is HORRIBLE! They sent me a shipment I didn't order. I had to contact them twice to cancel. The first time they didn't actually cancel. The 2nd time they kept me on a chat for almost 30 minutes refusing to cancel my subscription but instead kept trying to sell more products. I used an entire box with ZERO results.

Unfortunate Scam

I have been buying from Perricone MD for a few years now. On November 25th, 2022 I placed an order for $622.53 and took advantage of the Black Friday specials. I ordered the following:
1 of the High Potency Classics Face Finishing and Firming Mositurizer
2 of the Essential FX Acyl Glutathione Rejuvenating Moisturizer
1 of the Signature Duo
1 of the Perricone MD Cold Plasma + The Intesive Hydrating Complex

The pricing was great and was happy to purchase it. They gave me a proposed delivery date, according to their confirmation email, between December 1 and December 3.

After checking the tracking number a few times when I didn't receive the products on those dates, it said it was delivered Sunday November 27th to my office and left with a front desk. Unfortunately for Perricone, my office is closed on the weekends and there is no front desk at all even when we are open. We also have a door that must have someone ring it to allow entrance so there is no shot that it was left anywhere inside the building if it was, in fact, delivered. Which it wasn't since our cameras show otherwise.

After reaching out to them through my portal via email, live chat and phone calls stating that I never received the product, I kept getting little to no responses. The only response is that they would contact the carrier and will respond within 24 to 48 hrs. After 8 or so emails and 10 calls and 10 additional days, I eventually contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge at Chase Visa.

To respond to my dispute, Perricone somehow sent a different carriers confirmation, not the one I actually had on record, and changed the date of delivery to the 30th and not the 27th of which their tracking number showed prior to my disputing the charge. To this day, I still have not received an actual response from a live person who is willing to help.

Since disputing my charge,

They shut down my online portal so I no longer have access to all of my requests, complaints and their responses.

My email doesn't exist as a client anymore. I am curious on how they will handle my subscriptions.

They produced fictitious information to my credit card company of which I have their printed information. Good thing I saved all of the emails and made copies.

It is unfortunate that this is how their customer service is. I really liked their product and bought a considerable amount of it as well as recommending it to my friends. My next stop is some contacts I have at Amazon to repeat this same story along with all of the back up documentation I have.

Dishonest business model

I bought from them once over the summer and they signed me up for a subscription without my consent. If their product was truly that great, they wouldn't feel the need to scam their customers.

Don't waste your money
November 28, 2022

This product has been around a long time - so I thought it was SAFE. This is the FIRST product I have ever been ALLERGIC to, so I didn't recognize it. I stopped it for a week because I thought it was bothering me, Applied it yesterday an HOLY HANNA, I now can't stop the BURN and hives. I now know this is what affected my face an it will be thrown away. I will also warn others

The product: Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Amine Facelift Serum, purchased from QVC, caused a very serious and extremely painful chemical burn on my face. I experienced burning, swelling, peeling, itching, hives, inflammation, dizziness, nausea, scarring, and major skin sensitizing. I can no longer be out in the sun for any significant amount of time. After my burn, I went to my dermatologist for help, twice, as I was instructed to come back after my first appointment, to give my skin more time to heal, so as to gage what if any permanent damage I was looking at. Weeks later, and my skin was still inflamed and red, and the areas where the burn was most severe, showed depigmentation scars. Subsequently, my doctor diagnosed me with atopic dermatitis and rosacea. My doctor recommended multiple skin laser treatments to reduce the redness, and hopefully, remove the depigmentation scars. However, he could not guarantee the outcome. I have since learned that the product in question is loaded with many well-known skin irritants. Who would have thought that a board-certified dermatologist (and scientist) would include such dangerous and terrible-for-your-skin ingredients— in his skincare products? And, with no warnings?! Fragrance/parfum, just one of the many skin-irritating ingredients known to harm your skin, contained in the product that injured and scarred me, also found in many of Perricone's (The Hut Group) products, is certainly a skin aggressor that greatly harmed me. I regret that I wasn't better informed of the dangerous ingredients found in this skincare line, before I used the product that scarred me. I totally bought into the whole, Dr. Perricone, "dermatologist to the celebrities" branding, and I have paid the price dearly for it. My once, healthy and attractive skin has been destroyed; and my skin barrier, completely weakened and compromised. I don't want anyone to endure what I have. Experiencing a bad reaction to a skincare product is one thing, and certainly difficult and painful on its own, but to walk away from using an expensive skincare product, made by a dermatologist, used one time, exact to the directions—and wind up with scars—is unimaginable and unacceptable. Please, folks, educate yourselves on the dangerous ingredients found in the Perricone MD skincare line, before you use it. If it contains fragrance/parfum, RUN! If it contains Linalool, Cinnamal, and Citronellol, RUN faster! Research every single ingredient found in the ingredient deck, and understand that the ingredients: "fragrance/parfum" can consist of many different chemical compounds. It is an umbrella term, used to house a lot of chemicals. Also, in addition to the manufacturer of this line using skin aggressors in their skincare products, and not putting warning labels of those skin irritants on their products or product packaging, this skincare line also doesn't put expiration dates on their skincare products or packaging, making the products potentially even more questionable and dangerous. If this review spares one person from enduring what I have, allowing them to keep their healthy skin free from harm and damage, it will have paid for the price of admission.

Disgusting Smell
August 30, 2022

I purchased the Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus Sub-D/Neck. It had an unpleasant scent, but after 3 weeks of using the cream the scent increased to a disgusting toxic like smell. I do not know what this product has in it to make it go bad, but it is pretty scary. Please read all reviews. This was almost $100 down the drain, but my health is more important to me.

The company charged my account twice after it has been inactivated and yesterday sent me notification of upcoming transaction from my bank account.
For two months I'm trying to clarify the situation and get my money back. I contacted their customer service by phone and via email but my issue is still not solved. Perricone MD customer service is absolutely useless and disappointing.

Buyer Beware!

This company is a scam. I ordered in March what I thought was a one time order for $74.50. I kept seeing charges on my account each month. When I contacted their customer service department, I was told that the $74.50 was the first installment and the other two charges were 'installment' payments. After receiving a second shipment, I requested a cancellation. They said I could send the shipment back and would be reimbursed and the account cancelled. Fingers crossed that they will honor that statement. I'll update my review if they do not.

Toxic

Product dried out skin and caused dry flaky spots. Company doesn't honor money back guarantee. Gave me one fake excuse after another. Asked me for lot#s then later told they couldn't find my order!
Update: I posted a review on product website but just received an email from Guthy-Renker telling me they couldn't post my review! Obviously they will only post positive reviews!

Rashes

Perricone products gave me a rash. I'm not mad at the product, I'm mad at customer service. When I received my products they said if you need to return the product that there would be no questions asked. This is what they said to me... we need a picture of your rash and the batch number of each product and the expiration date plus the date you ordered. Who has time for that? I'm not very happy I lost my money and I can't use or return. So think before you order from them.

I've used Perricone products for over 15 years; overall I believe they are quite good and my skin improved while using; tone and texture. However I just opened a jar of brand new rejuvenating moisturizer and there is a huge hole showing how much product is actually NOT in the jar. For the price; it's really upsetting. How many new items do not contain the actual amount of product they're supposed to?

Beware— the website is highly deceptive. They don't explain that when you order one shipment of the products, you will be signed up for a subscription. And when you try to cancel it, it is almost impossible.
