Pdfsmart.com offer online pdf resizing and converting services for £1.00 or £1.99 for a week unlimited or £8.99 monthly for one year, which work but the scam is that these prices are trial prices; the small print says that they will then charge you £49.99 a month until you notice your credit card statement. Even if you get furious after noticing one payment of £49.99 and cancel, it's still worth it for them because they've stolen £49.99 which they won't refund

🚨SCAMMERS! 🚨 — DO NOT USE!
They will charge you 0,10€ for a pdf file, you will authorize that 0,10€ and a day later they deduct 49,90€ without authorization. They then claim that you subscribed, but are not able to provide you with proof of where you allegedly subscribed. My bank's fraud department is tending to it and I will officially open a case at the police on Monday.

I've had an extremely frustrating time dealing with PDFSmart. I paid a small fee to use their service once, not understanding that I was automatically going to be billed every month afterward, $40 USD. It was not clearly communicated. I find this sales tactic deceitful and very disappointing. While requesting a refund for all the months I did not use, I was met with zero sympathy, and reminded that I signed their (sneaky) terms and conditions. No phone number is posted to contact them

Didn't work and signed me up to monthly payments with no mention of subscriptions in their email and then no further emails. Please be aware that whilst this is not fundamentally dishonest, and I accept its in their Ts and Cs and I feel foolish for not being more alert, reputable companies do not operate in this way.

Tried to convert a PDF to Word - went through the process, made an account paid a £1 for 1x document and it didnt work - I was well fed up - complete waste of time
