I paid for what was presented as a one-time PDF service. Without clear consent, I was enrolled in a recurring monthly subscription and charged 4 times. The service itself wasn't even that useful.

There is no way to cancel the account anywhere on the website. When I contacted support, they refused any refund citing their "non-refundable" policy, while confirming in writing that they canceled the subscription I never knowingly signed up for. They then offered me "2 years for $0.99" to stay, which says everything about the real value of what they charge monthly.

Judging by other reviews here, this is a pattern, not a mistake. Check your credit card statements if you've ever paid them once. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company.

I made a one-off payment for a single document at $0.95, I did not subscribe to anything else, they ended up charging my card for $44.95. I would warn everyone to steer clear of this site, their customer service is of no help, just trying to up-sell services you don't need. If you paid via card, call your bank and block it, trust this site at your own risk. They also charged an extra $0.99 for no reason at all.

I have now received the full refunds for both charges, and the matter has been resolved.

I appreciate the efforts of the customer support team in reviewing my case and working toward a solution. While the process took some time, I am satisfied that the company ultimately handled the situation and provided the appropriate resolution.

The PDF tools themselves are useful, and I will consider using the service again in the future if I have similar needs.

I am sharing my personal experience with PDFLeader to warn other consumers to be extremely careful before providing payment details or starting a free trial.

I initially signed up for PDFLeader through a free trial. According to PDFLeader's own records, my trial began in March 2026 and was later automatically converted into a paid subscription.

After discovering the unexpected charge and realizing that I had no intention of continuing to use the service, I immediately contacted PDFLeader to request cancellation and a refund.

On 19 June 2026, I submitted my complaint and refund request under Ticket #*******. PDFLeader acknowledged receiving my request and informed me that their team would review my case.

However, while my refund request was still under review, I was shocked to see another charge made to my account on 20 June 2026. This happened despite the fact that I had already contacted them to dispute the previous charge and requested that my subscription be cancelled.

Later on 20 June 2026, PDFLeader confirmed that my subscription had been cancelled and that no further charges would be applied to my account. However, this did not address the charges that had already been made, including the additional charge on the same day.

Throughout the email exchange, I clearly explained my situation and provided all requested information. Instead of offering a fair and reasonable refund solution, PDFLeader repeatedly responded with retention offers, including special discounts and extended access to their PDF editing, conversion, and OCR services, which I had no interest in using.

The most disappointing part was the quality of their customer support. The communication was slow, repetitive, and seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility for the charges rather than genuinely resolving a customer complaint.

A company operating with free trials, automatic renewals, and subscription billing should have transparent practices and a fair, customer-oriented approach when handling disputes.

As of today, my subscription has been cancelled, but my refund issue remains unresolved. My experience with PDFLeader has been extremely frustrating, and I cannot recommend this service to anyone.
