I had hoped for a reliable way to convert my Excel file to PDF. Unfortunately, PDFAID made the experience incredibly frustrating. After spending time formatting the file, it wouldn't let me export without logging in and paying. No price was shown beforehand, and I feel completely misled.
The process started well. I used their editor to remove several pages from a document and add a header. As soon as I finished, though, I was met with a login wall and payment prompt. None of that was shown before. Total waste of time, and the file wasn't even saved.

I expected a one-time fee, but the site charged me twice within a few days. They don't disclose that you're being signed up for a recurring payment. There's no account dashboard, no clear cancellation process. Once they have your card, you're stuck. This is dishonest business behavior.

Everything was fine until I tried to download the edited PDF. Suddenly I was asked to sign in, and without confirming anything, my card was charged. That's not how a user-focuseed service should operate. PDFAID reviews online aren't wrong — this platform doesn't operate with transparency.

Don't be fooled by their claims of free service. I added a digital signature, rearranged a few pages, and then tried to save. That's when the paywall hit. No warnings, no pricing up front. Just a hard stop unless you're willing to provide personal and billing information.

This is what's known as a dark pattern: a sneaky design trick meant to push you into making choices you'd never make otherwise. It's downright disrespectful—a slap in the face to anyone who values their time and trust. And worst of all? They planned it this way. I'm done with this site. I'll never use it again. I urge everyone else to stay far away and look for services that respect their users. Companies that thrive on manipulating people into paying don't deserve our business.

I should've paid attention to the PDFAID review sections online. My experience was nearly identical to what others have reported. You complete the task, and then suddenly you're met with a payment screen. After paying, you discover you're also enrolled in an ongoing subscription. Very underhanded.

This site is cleverly designed to appear free until it's far too late. I uploaded a Word document, edited everything I needed, and only then was I asked to register. Once I did, I realized they had already processed a charge. There was no turning back, and customer support is nonexistent.
