This service can be very helpful, but make sure you:
1) Select your forwarder carefully and read fresh reviews in advance (you can read about forwarders on Parcl.com itself
2) Only pay via PayPal through the button on Parcl
3) Don't "confirm receipt" on PayPal if a forwarder asks you to, contact Parcl support immediately/ask for a refund and go with a different forwarder (create a new request).
Shipping carriers are separate entities and their performance is not controlled by the forwarders or Parcl, Lost or damaged items can take eternity to be compensated for and thats just how it is.
This service just connects you with other people that are willing to help. You register as a shopper on Parcl and they register as forwarders. Parcl does not claim to control the performance of its users.
All of this is stuff is actually stated upfront when you make an account. Its funny, but many people don't like to read, do they?

Over priced and expensive and wont return cost charged in wrong currency.
This idea is great. The company is terrible. And customer service is a joke. After receiving repeated errors when attempting to pay, I followed the automaticity generated prompt to contact a moderator. There was even a checkbox for payment errors. I was contacted and told "payment is not handled by Parcl" and was told to contact my bank and PayPal, which is the only payment option. I did so and was told that everything on my end was fine, and the only explanation must be restrictions on the other end. I alerted Parcl to this explanation, and was told that I was wrong. And that if they were wrong then how could they operate. The issue was dismissed out of hand, and no attempt was made to resolve it. No help was given, no questions were asked. The only response was a very rude email, telling me it was my problem, not theirs. After responding, and saying as much, my account was deleted. And I was berated by their customer service representative. Clearly it is a smaller company who think they can respond on a personal level to customer issues. There is zero professionalism at this company.
And After seeing this exact review on another site, they responded by telling me my legal name was fake, and once again that failure to resolve the issue was my fault. Any company that engages customers and reviews in this manner, blames them for issues that they made no attempt to remedy, and then accuses them of behavior that they in fact initiated, needs to be avoided at all costs. USER BEWARE!
It was very easy to get what i want, support replied on the same day, the forwarder was friendly and professional. PayPal only payments. Excellent
Placed an order with SimpleParcel via parcl
DO NOT USE THEM at all they are using other freight forwarders / agents in other countries and NOT THEIR OWN PEOPLE OR OFFICES for e. G in they are using ARAMEX shop and ship address / services and using them to forward the goods. In which they have NO CONTROL OF YOUR GOODS, LASTLY DO NOT USE SimpleParcel WHATS SO EVER! As your forwarder. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! STAY CLEAR BIG TIME.
Recently bought a GTX1650 SUPER gpu, msi version, through a forwarder on Parcl.
I have had no problem with communication or payment, the support answered quickly.
I think Parcl has stepped up their game

You have no protection at all for any transaction made on their platform, no support when you place an order and things are going wrong like it happened in my case. There are scammers like Eze Oji Dike and they will take your money and never deliver your package. I placed an order in Australia 1390 aud, i paid 138 usd for all the forward services to Eze Oji Dike and he is not delivering the package even after a month. On top of that this Parcl.com doesn t even replay to my messages and they are not taking actions against their "partners". The only thing i got it was a partial refund of 15 usd. If you want to find a forwarder my advice is to look for a company but stay away from this scammers. I didn t look for reviews before and i had to loose money. I hope you are doing it right and you read this before working with them.
So stay away from Parcl.com if you care about your money.
I purchased the new LOL surprise series, way before they would available in my country and the best thing is I didn't have to pay any custom taxes, I contacted a forwarder on Parcl (Domenico from London), before sending the package he showed me the contents via WhatsApp he was very very helpful AMAZING!
I have ordered a laptop from Newegg and had a lot of concerns regarding its customs status when it arrives and whether the insurance will be available for me after international shipping. The forwarder cleared everything out for me even though he was not obliged to. After all, the product arrived in a timely manner undamaged and with a cute postcard in it. I have nothing to complain at all!
I used the service for the first time to purchase an item from Europe. After nearly 2 months of trying to get updates from the forwarder, they told me that they couldn't buy the product I wanted. I asked for a refund and still haven't received it! Parcl haven't helped in any way to sort this out with their forwarder. Do not risk using them.
I purchased my first item for a costumer for a Spanish company, the item never appears and the client cancels with me losing the money of the purchased item.
I know now that I could have asked in advance the money for the purchase but I tried contacting the staff through all the means they have on their website and I haven't received an answer yet.

I've never heard of package forwarding before, so basically I used to give up on shopping when found out that the store didn't ship to my country. I remember that one day someone from Parcl approcahed me on twitter proposing totry their service for my makeup shopping. That was the day that literally changed my life! My first package from Sephora arrived in 13 days, containing everything I ordered in perfect condition. Nice bonus: I surprised how carfeully they packed the little bottles, glass boxes, lipsticks and other stuff.
I accidentially discovered Parcl on Producthunt. At that time I didn't need international shipping service, however a couple of months later my wife and I needed to buy a birthday present for our daughter. We remembered that she was complaining that all the great makeup brands didn't ship to the UK where we live now. So I thought that I could give Parcl a try. I posted a delivery request there, a few days later three forwarders offered their services. I wasn't really happy with the total sum, I chose the cheapest option ($80 for a $150 purchase). That was painful, especially it's painful when you trust your money to a complete stranger (even though they're verified and have a high rating). Then the process went pretty smooth, the forwarder guided me through every step of it, to be honest the service is a bit complicated. In 10 calendar days I received the package. My daughter's birthday is later this week, I really hope she likes all the amkeup stuff her mum chose for her. So here's my verdict: price - 3/5, speed - 5/5, communication - 5/5, convenience - 3/5.

Answer: I think they have had problems with forwarders in the past, because Parcl is does not control what other users do, until they investigate and somebody is proven guilty, people might have the wrong understanding of what the platform is. The service simply connects you to a person in the country you want to buy something from. They assist with refunds and security, but they are not keeping these guys as employees, everybody is just a user.
