Well, the bagels were... hard. (I stored these bagels airtight in the same bag they handed to me, but not too long later, I tried ripping it apart with my hands to no avail, as it was seemingly like cardboard. However, I personally think that cardboard would've ripped easier than this bagel. Guess I'm going to have to go hungry for now; thanks a lot, Panera! I absolutely loved starting my day with cardboard and bland cheese~! :)

Lie, cheat and steal

I recently did a takeout at Panera. The girl that took my order was inexperienced and confused the whole time she was taking the order. She also forgot to put a cookie in the bag I ordered. When I got home I was looking at my debit account and saw almost $30 was charged which I knew was wrong. I went back to get a refund and was told that without the receipt they could not give me a refund. I showed them the amount that was charged to my account, and they still refused to do anything. I know there are a lot of people out there that don't look at their receipts since they figure they're dealing with honest people. Who knows how often they do this. I would recommend staying away.

Fantastic Frederick

Frederick is the manager at Panera at UTC, on Cattlemen Road, in Sarasota.
Frederick is the quintessential hands on Manger who in my opinion is on eof the best leaders I have seen for a long time.
Panera is lucky to have him. Also, of course the food and drinks, the service is top notch.
Well done Frederick.

Manager was the rudest.

I wanted to treat my family tonight to Panera Bread because I'm not able to cook for them because of a medical procedure and just got home from the hospital. I had a friend of mine pick up food, and when he dropped it off, I noticed that 5 items were not there, but they sure charged me for it. I called twice and spoke to 2 employees, and they both put me on hold to get the manager, and after 20+ min between both calls, they hung up before I was able to speak to the manager. I paid close to $60 for me and my children, but I wasn't able to make sandwiches for them tonight and for their lunches in the morning for school. They were so disappointed. Panera just threw in 3 small bags of chips instead of the foccacia breads and french bagguets that I ordered. So 2 of my children had to eat something else. I drove up to the location to see what was going on, and the manager on duty was a short African American female around 25-30 years old. She was very rude to me the entire time and offered me 2 options of bread replacement that I told her my children would not eat, but she didn't care and insisted that's the only 2 options. I asked for her for a refund for the items that I paid for but did not receive, and she took my receipt and rudely walked away with an attitude as she mumbled something. I kept my composure the entire time and didn't raise my voice once, but she seemed too busy to deal with me and seemed very preoccupied with something in the back. She didn't apologize once and didn't say thank you for coming in for the mix-up.

I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! 1 Star

Don't waste your time here

We had VERY poor service! Only thing good was the food! The person that took the order obviously had a problem that she had to ring us up because we had cash and we interrupted the time she had to talk to her co-worker. She had a horrible attitude! No smile not even a fake one. No thank you! I don't think I've we have ever went out and got treated this bad. There was no ice for drinks and we had to find that out for ourselves after we paid. Even the cuts in the bread bowls were poorly done where one was spilling out the side before he could even start eating it.

Togo orders stink

We got a togo order from Baytown store & chicken salad sandwich was maybe a table spoon look like dry chicken and dry bread & 5 lbd lettuce. None bread was grilled. Never go there again.

Your tv ads and in store ads for your Pepperoni and Mozzarella Melt look nothing like the sad item I just received. Cold pepperoni, three small chunks of mozzarella and almost no sauce. At lunchtime, this store was empty and now I know why. Sad, Panera, you used to be quite good. McDonalds is looking good at present.

To the one who said the food doesn't look like on TV...you do know the food on TV fake right n they pay experts high amounts of money too fool you lmao. Learn something, where you all work an see if you all simple perfect everyday dealing with people nasty attitudes and behind the scene mess you know nothing about.

When did processed food become clean food. They serve lunch meats and cheeses, it's processed food and not clean food. They falsely advertise their food as clean. Only salads come close to being clean but they come with cheese. Clean food is clean when it's not processed in any way. False advertising

Panera service is getting worse and its always dirty. We were in the week before Christmas and the food was not as it normally is. Soup was watered down and luke warm and the new Chicken sandwich was cold. Normally we have no complaints on the food only the service and bad conditions of the floors tables and chairs. At our last visit there weren't many employees but normally there are several just standing around instead of cleaning tables, etc. I have never seen anyone cleaning a table and have never been there where I could find a clean table. I bring Clorox wipes knowing I'll have a dirty table to clean. You charge enough for your menu items for customers to expect a clean environment to eat at.
You have some really good food options, but I no longer enjoy eating there due the lack of cleaning. We choose not to purchase gift cards this year for those reasons. You would think COVID would have taught businesses something.
The cleanliness issue you is not only at this location. It seems to be the same at all the others we been at.

Placing an order
December 28, 2022

We just placed a take out order at the College Ave Panera and when we went to go pick it up the person behind the counter says we cancelled it because we are short staffed and it was to big. We placed it an hour ago and no one called or texted or emailed. I truly am out of words to explain how I feel but very unprofessional. Don't know how you can keep your doors open if you are that rude.

Worst sandwich ever

I refuse to eat a sandwich like this. If this is the way you treat valued customers. I will not be returning to Panera Bread. I was so hungry
Not for a hunk of bread that I paid $9 for.

I ordered the Bacon turkey lettuce tomato bravo sandwich
The bread was slightly sweet and thick
The meal also came with a large chocolate chip cookie and baked potato chips

FRESH AND DELICIOUS

This USED to be such a great place to eat. I can't find 1 positive thing to say. No selection in sandwiches- if u don't like chicken u'r out of luck.2 choices of salads small and large- they should say "snack size" and large. Small is the size of "pick 2" category. I got a handful of brown wilted lettuce 4 pieces of " compressed chicken" and the smallest container made in restaurant supplies of Caesar dressing for $8.33! My coworkers couldn't believe the salad when I showed it to them. What a rip. I know it's inflationary times, but it's also gauging times for some places. Now I know why I was the only one on line during lunchtime. I will be joining the missing. Au revoir Panera!

Forgetting to Put the Side in My Bag

I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 tomato soup bowls. I have a whole soup left because they don't put any of the bread for each item in my bag! My child likes to eat the bread and dip it in her soup. I'm sick of them!

The soup was half full and at $8.29 a real rip off. Also it was watered down. The chicken sandwich was burnt, greasy and cold. Wrong item given, never ordered the hot pepper one rather the classic. Overall, horrible food at the Massapequa New York location.

Delivery was 30 minutes late and the food was in poor quality when it finally arrived! The croissants were soggy from tuna salad which wouldnt have been an issue had it been on time. The breakfast sandwich from yesterday's order was cold and I thought I'd give them another chance. Don't waste your money with Panera!

You Suck

Panera keeps taking a nose dive. The quality of their food has gone from 100 to 0. Their customer service sucks. They consistently engage in marketing manipulation tactics in order to control their customers, by removing popular items from their menu. This is because their vendors convince them to buy new items, and they remove other items from their menu in order to force their customers to try the new ones.

Look at all the wonderful dishes they have removed, and refuse to bring back. And every time you ask them, they play stupid and change the subject.

Potato soup. Cuban sandwich. Cinnamon coffee cake. Tomato mozzarella salad. To name just a few.

I for one will not allow myself to be manipulated or controlled, or told what I can or cannot order. As long as Panera wants to ay their games and manipulate customers, I will not be going there.

20 years ago this place was the bomb. Lines out the door. Food was amazing. Now they need to shut down for good. They will not be missed.
