A few caveats to my first review as regards 'Our Time' dating site. Actually it matters not one jot what anyone thinks of their MO, because they (and all similar sites) just don't care that you think their sites are crap, all they'e interested in is money, money, money and try to convince you with smoke and mirrors that you can actually find a match on their sites. The endless profiles ae just like looking at a Freeview TV guide - they're all repeats! And probably years old to boot because most new joiners quickly realise they've been used as scam-fodder and cancel their membership without any hope of a refund. What they tend not to do is have their profie/piccs removed (I don't know how you do that and I'm sure most others don't either) so any would be future date-hunters are messaging a ghost,. I literally had this happen to me about seven years ago on another site whereby I was messaged by an Elizabeth which said: " Elizabeth lives only 2 miles from you and is waiting to hear from you". No she wasn't! Because I knew her and I'd been to her funeral the previous month! Why on earth they send profiles from absolutely miles away is beyond me. Why on earth would someone in say Taunton want to meet up with someone in Liverpool? "Ok kiddo, I'll pack an overnight bag and load the car, see you in Birmingham". I think that might be the world's most expensive coffee!
It just goes on! The internet has a virtual manopoly of introductions, but now with such sophisticated software alorithms you may as well ask your wheelie bin out on a date because that'd be more successful than actually communicating with with a fake profile. MC
