OnlineBookClub.org is an awesome site for readers. We have international book discussions, virtual bookshelves to track what you have read, original book reviews and much more!
Online Book Club has established a strong reputation for its supportive and professional approach, with many customers praising the promptness of feedback and the quality of reviews. Authors appreciate the community engagement and the effective promotional strategies that enhance their visibility. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the platform's treatment of genuine reviewers, particularly those using grammar tools, which may lead to account penalties. Overall, while the service is well-received for its reliability and quality, attention to reviewer concerns could further enhance customer satisfaction and trust.

First off, it is real. Though I was initially dubious myself, onlinebookclub.org does pay users for writing reviews. The website provides a large selection of free and paid books which usually come with some compensation pending a published review.
With an interesting hierarchical system, it is even possible for reviewers to earn higher wages – up to $60 per book, i. E, the higher your level, the more money you get.
It sounds like a dream, and for the most part, it is. My only contention is with the fact that this is more than just a review site, an attribute on which the organisation prides itself. It takes much more than just writing reviews to move up the ladder or even maintain your current position. Daily check-ins, peripheral tasks and seemingly compulsory social engagements (it is a book club after all) are some other factors that contribute to, and conversely, impede your progress on the website.
Next, there is the issue of access. To fully reap the benefits of onlinebookclub.org, one must also have full access to Amazon.com. This may sound like an inane little statement, but you'd be surprised to find out how difficult it is to form a relationship with Amazon outside of the US and the other chosen locations. Without access to Amazon, readers can neither buy nor review books that have that set as a criterion – and that's a whole lotta books you'll never get to read.
Now, if you find yourself among the unfortunate excluded, scorned by the Bezos himself, there remains a healthy number of books to choose from. And once you submit your review and the post-review questionnaire – assuming all goes well, I'd say budget up to six weeks for the payment to finally arrive. Six-ish weeks that would be a lot less dreadful were you expecting a higher pay-out, but I believe we now understand the complex Catch-22 situation surrounding the ascent to Better-Paid Apex Reviewer.
Shortcomings aside, though, users on this website still have a massive collection of books at their fingertips regardless of the payment situation. And if you really love reading, then that might be the important thing.
Hello, thank you for your feedback!
I recently joined online book club as a reviewer. I love to read books and I thought why not get paid to give my honest opinion on books I've read. Online book club has a ton of amazing books and I've gotten paid from my published reviews. If u love to read then this is the best place to be.
Thank you, Rebecca!
Considering that I mostly avoid social media, you did well in disseminating information for "Cleared got Takeoff: Memoirs of an Air Traffic Controller" as book of the day on August 2. And I am very happy with the intent to read focus group results. My only quibble is the high cost to become botd (although perhaps you have to pay the social media outlets and or members of the focus group?)
Hi John, thank you for sharing your experience with us!
I never thought I could earn by doing something I truly love. This is 100% legit.
Hi Bidushi, thanks for your comment!
As a newbie it scares us while trying out new things. The negative thoughts clouds our mind and we are bound to question the legitimacy of the sites. However, I can assure you that OnlineBookClub is a safe place and you can put your trust in it. I have reviewed 2 books and am on my third and have received my payment for my review. This is a legit way to earn money by reading books.
Thank you, Vanshika!
Joining this community has been a whole great mode for my life and has helped me develop good vocabulary in English language and has made me develop great passion for reading books. So without not wasting much time, I entreat all persons having problems with English language to join for their own interest and also it's a good page for all book lovers.
Thank you, Emmanuel!

Reading books, getting them for free and getting paid! Yay! I started with getting free books to read and review. Once those reviews were accepted and published reviews are now paid! Want free books? Join OnlineBookClub.org!

I think this website is great because it's bringing reading books back. Their guidelines are straight to the point and it's nice to get incentives when you're done reading the book. I will thoroughly enjoy being a member of the online book club. Let's start reading!
Hi Bonnie, thank you so much!
My experience has been great. It is an amazing platform!
The UI could use a little improvement but that's not a major problem.
I received my payment within 2 days of my review getting published. Which was really fast.
The team is also excellent!
Keep it up!
Thank you, Arzoo!
The site is a very great site. It sticks to deadlines and it is easy to understand, it also does not cliche.
Glad you enjoyed the site, Mofiyinfoluwa!
I have read through the provided guidelines and feel that I will have no problem fulfilling the requirements. The website is easy to read and understand while making the requirements clear and concise.
Thank you, Heather, welcome aboard!
I love the fact that I get to choose a book I like and can choose not review it if I don't like it... best thing is I get paid for doing what I love.
Thanks, Faith!
This is a fantastic site if you love to read. Payments are prompt after reviews are approved, and as long as you follow the guidelines, there's nothing stopping you from making anywhere from $5 to $60 per review!
Thank you, Amy!
I have spent 6 months with OBC and I must say, it's been a good ride for me. I love the system. And I have always got paid for all my reviews. However, I wish the admin could revisit the giveaway rules on the carry over points. Apart from this, OBC is a platform with integrity. I fully recommend it.
Thank you, Francis!
I haven't been a reviewer for long, but this is a trusted and honest site to make a few dollars from if you really enjoy reading books and give your opinion.
Thank you for your review, Berlina!
I submitted my book to onlinebookclub for review, and it was so helpful. Their reviewer gave me a list of errors in the book. Her review was detailed and straight to the point.
What I love about this platform is how quick they are in answering my questions and how helpful and friendly they are. I would definitely recommend it to authors specially before publishing their books.
Thank you, Rana!
Answer: If you write a book review for onlinebookclub.org, you must follow their guidelines. Some of them are writing a short summary, answering - What did you best like/least like about the book and why? - rating the book, etc. Each review is checked for grammar and if it followed the guidelines by an editor, and then it will be published, and the reviewer is awarded points and paid. Each review must be at least 400 words. Look on the website under guidelines to get all of the requirements for writing reviews.

Answer: To get paid you need to do paid reviews. But since you are new, you'll have to do at least one volunteer/unpaid review. This is so that the moderators can see how well you are able to keep to the guidelines. There are six reviewer levels in total. The higher levels offer review opportunities with higher payouts. Writing good reviews following guidelines and participating within the bookclub will help get you to higher levels. Hope that helps!
