I had no idea what to expect of the Online Book Club BOTD experience and to my pleasant surprise it was delightful. I enjoyed reading all 135 reviews of Nimue: Freeing Merlin, 95% were 4 out of 4 stars. I found people to be authentic, and mostly very positive and supportive. A few people said the book wasn't their cup of tea, which made it real. The experience has given me the boost of energy I need to finish the sequel. Thank you BOTD! Writers need support and you offer it!

A few months ago, I had a book reviewed. My novel is an urban crime drama. The person who reviewed it was from West Africa. Now, I'm not sure if the person chose my book or the book was assigned to him, but he obviously did not read my book with clarity or completely. Unsatisfied with the review, I did not request a refund. I simply requested my profile permanently deactivated and my book/book title removed from said site. The owner has been giving me the run around. I simply need off his hamster wheel.

It is being truly said that the only thing which is constant in this world is change. The Indian society has observed a drastic change in its living pattern in the past few years. People are slowly and gradually opening their minds towards the idea of pre-marital sex and live-in relationships. However, this change has been continuously under criticism and highly discussed as such concepts lack legality and acceptance by the society.

I was very excited to join a website that promised to pay me for reading and reviewing books. A dream, right? Nope. It's been two months since I wrote and submitted my first paid review, and I haven't been paid. The owner doesn't respect the reviewers at all, and I'm inclined to call this site a scam. Beware!

Bertha did a great job understanding and summarizing the novel in her review, however she did get a key location wrong. She called Twin-Reef island Twin-Leaf island, but this is minor, and past reviewers have made similar errors. The review was a decent length and covered the basics well without spoiling anything. Bottom line, I'm impressed, and thank you for your honest and positive praise. I'm glad it was well received.
