High exit fees

Car insurance initially looks cheap and good value, having had the policy for a year its auto renewed at a significant increase, despite no claims. Then after 2 weeks of renewal, cancellation fees running at over £120 is disproportionate in my opinion and over 3 months of payments, for 2 weeks of cover.
I'm highlighting this as most of us are not aware of these back end tricks to make you pay,
