I bought an all you need package and 21 out of 24 CEU were rejected. I have been going around and around with the help people for days and they keep sending me the same information.
I specifically purchased this site to obtain my RN CEU requirements. I completed 2 courses only to find the courses did NOT give CEU credits.
The review materials for CNN is so basic and incomplete! The exam at the end of the topics is only related to their materials and not basing to the national certification exam! The material is expensively useless!
A while back, I purchased a state requirement CEU package to renew my nursing license as my company does not provide them, which in my state comes up every 3 years. I know there are free ones, but I just had a baby and was super busy with everything and decided to just pay for the convenience of not having chase them down or count how many hours I still needed. Life got even busier, so I was going through them super slowly. Fast forward, I finally found some time to finish up the CEUs – only to discover I no longer had access.
When I contacted customer service, they told me I only had access for a year. This time limit was never mentioned on the website despite the unlimited CEU package outlined directly next to it made the time limit extremely clear. Their excuse was that they can't guarantee the CEUs would still meet the state requirements after a year, but my purchase date is an arbitrary deadline for that if that was true. If the state requirements changed say, June 1, I'd still have had access to them until January. When I pointed this out along with the fact that they sold this as a product, not a subscription and should therefore still have access to a purchased product, they basically shrugged and said, "Sorry, nothing we can do" and that they'd "let the development team know." They tried to have me purchase another package. (As a side note, looking at the package available for purchase, the CEUs are largely the same, and they're just CEUs, not anything state-specific. And if some of them expired and were no longer available for credit, I could understand eating that loss, but I should at least have access to what I purchased and should be able to salvage what I could. I know they aren't re-writing the entire catalog every year and they aren't all expiring exactly one year from my purchase date.)
This has left me with an unfinished package and wasted money. It's predatory and misleading, especially since I specifically chose the package because I didn't want to pay annually for an unlimited subscription when I knew it would take me awhile to finish what I needed for my state. I've taken CEUs that were 2,3 years old before, so I know it's not a misunderstanding for how CEUs work, and regardless, the customer service was so horrible I would definitely look elsewhere for CEUs if you ever need them.
I tried to renew, but my credit card was not accepted. Additionally, I tried to take the Florida Laws & Rules course, but it was a real challenge to figure out how to read and press the correct tabs to proceed. It felt like a waste of hours of my time. I guess this course was recently revised. Never finished course and I was able to obtain a refund.
It has to be a scam. You can't sign up-won't accept a credit card & phone message from 8 months ago..
The website is poorly made, and can be difficult to find what you are looking for. The most annoying aspect is how time-consuming it is to get your CEs after taking each course. They REQUIRE you to evaluate them by answering 10 multiple-choice survey questions about your experience for each course. It is ridiculous. I do not recommend at all.
You either pay more for the premium unlimited package or loss your 35$ and move on to a different nursing education company.
I would not recommend them. Although they claimed to have notified my state nursing board of my completed and required CEU'S they did not do so. I found out when I went to renew my nursing license.
This could have potentially cost me my license. Don't count on this company to keep their word.
There are a lot of good sites out there, this is not one of them. Starting price 29.95ish for the basic-your state requirements. 49.95 for all available CEU's 1.5 or less and 50% off everything else. I bought that one. They charged my card 149.95. Months of promises to correct, or accept a 'free' certification course, which I did agree to when I realized that getting a credit was not forthcoming. Well the 'free' course I selected never came either. After 3 months a 'Keisha' told me straight up-'It's been over three months your're not getting a refund. Period.' I said 'fine', just give me something for the extra 100.00 you charged my card. Keisha tells me they 'don't have to give you (me) anything, it's over 3 months'. I spoke with someone else, she pretty much told me the same thing but said she would try to get something for the money-if not the course I originally was supposed to get.
