I had a friend with lots of knowledge about computers and internet check out N1M and he found that they are russian... that was not good... so all of you who said it's a scam maybe you are right after all... and as somebody wrote... it is not easy to close your account... and they are very hard on you... they say that if you close the account you can never get another account... probably because if you do you will see the things that people write about them... all is the same... but if you're on your own you never see that... maybe it's a scam maybe not... but I will not use them any more.../PEO!

As far as I'm concerned, it's nothing but a scam, preying on people's egos & their $. I supposedly built up a fan base of 1,700 in a matter of a month. With all kinds over the tops compliments... that my music had changed their life for the better... they couldn't get on with their day without first hearing my music... my music brought them spiritual guidance... this kind of b. S. When I specifically took the time to respond & thank all my 1,700 fans for their glowing reviews, I didn't get one response from any of them, not one. Instead I got invalid emails, discontinued emails, unable to deliver emails, was all that I got in return.

So basically as far as I'm concerned, there are hundreds of sites for musicians to upload their music too, most of them want to get money off you, I don't pay for any of them because if I did I would be in serious debt, hang on that's not entirely true, I do pay Tunecore around $48 a year to distribute an album on iTunes Spotify etc, although I always make a loss but I keep paying as it helps my Google rankings. As soon as I uploaded 3 tunes on N1M I knew it was a scam as I was getting loads of feedback as to how good my songs were, it was so obvious fake messages asking how can we purchase your music or have you got any merch LoL, I always reply with a message saying that I can make a personalized signed cd but have never had a reply. However saying that when I check the chart position of my songs they do seem to be genuine, however all my songs on N1M music are bootleg remixes and I've just informed the copyright owner of my chart positions so hopefully Sony Music will have something to say about N1M. Zapp Royce.

AS A BUSINESS, IT'S OK THAT THEY WANT YOU TO UPGRADE TO PREMIUM AND PAY

BUT IN ORDER TO CONVINCE YOU TO UPGRADE, AFTER A WHILE USING THE BASIC FREE, SUDDENLY YOU ARE FORCED TO UPGRADE OR ELSESUDDENLY YOUR ACCOUNT GETS EFFECTIVELY BLOCKED

THIS IS DONE BY REJECTING ALL YOUR PROPOSED SONG CAMPAIGNS, SO YOU CAN'T SPEND ANY OF YOUR BLICOINS BALANCE SINCE NONE OF YOUR SONGS CAN BE RECOMMENDED. THIS MEANS ALSO YOU CAN'T EARN BC, SINCE YOU ARE OVER THE 100 BC LIMIT. SO YOU'RE OUT

THIS IS BAD, BUT THERE IS MUCH MORE WORSE THINGS: ONCE YOU ARE "PARALIZED" STRANGELY ENOUGH YOUR SONGS ALMOST STOP GETTING PLAYED OR VISITED. WHY?

THIS MEANS THAT ACTUALLY MOST OF THE STATISTICS YOU GET (PLAYS, VISITS, LIKES) ARE FAKE NUMBERS, COMPUTER GENERATEDIF SO, WHAT'S THE USE OF N1M?

TRUELY, NONE IT'S OK TO ENJOY FREE N1M THINKING THAT YOUR MUSIC GETS HEARD AND PLAYED WIDELY. I SUSPECTED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THAT THESE NUMBERS WERE'NT TRUE SINCE I GOT ZERO INCOME FROM SPOTIFY AFTER TENS OF THOUSANDS OF SUPPOSED N1M PLAYS, AND THIS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE, SO I KEPT INVESTIGATING

I DISCOVERED ALSO THAT MOST OF THE MUSICIANS THAT SUPPOSEDLY RECOMMEND YOU AND BECOME "YOUR N1M NETWORK" EITHER DON'T EXIST OR ARE NOT ACTIVE AND PROBABLY ARE UNAWARE THAT THEY ARE LISTED AND RANKED AS N1M USERS. THAT'S WHY THOSE WHO RECOMMEND, ARE 99% LIKELY TO RECOMMEND AGAIN (SO SAYS N1M) BECAUSE ONLY A FEW OF THOSE SHOWN ON THE RANKINGS, ARE REAL, EXISTING, ACTIVE MUSICIANS

THIS BECAME EVIDENT FIRST BY SENDING A MESSAGE TO MANY AND GETTING ALMOST NO REPLIES, AND ALSO BY NOTICING THAT MOST OF MY NETWORK WAS COMPOSED BY THE SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN, WHICH PROBABLY ARE THESE (FEW) REAL ACTIVE USERS.

I GOT THE SAME RESULTS (AND NAMES) WHEN I REGISTERED IN N1M UNDER A NEW PROFILE (NAME, PLACE AND DIFFERENT SONGS OF MINE). STRANGELY, I QUICKLY ROSE AGAIN TO NUMBER 1 (THIS BOOSTS YOUR EGO AND INDUCES YOU TO UPGRADE, BUT IT'S A FAKE). OF COURSE N1M WILL "ELIMINATE" ME AGAIN, AFTER SENDING THIS CLARIFYING MESSAGE

IN SUMMARY: N1M IS JUST A USELESS EGO BOOSTING GAME, BUT UNFORTUNATELY MOST OF THE SATISFACTION YOU GET (FOR FREE OR PAYING A REASONABLE 100), IS BASED ON FAKE INFORMATION. IF YOU DIDN'T PAY, IT'S JUST A SCAM. IF YOU PAID, IT'S A FRAUD

Got ripped of with my previous band from this scam website. Many flattering messages from fake-accounts and/or robots to make us pay money for a diamond membership (or what it was called back then in 2011). Got the #1 spot in metal way ahead bands like In Flames and Iron Maiden. But in the reality: really nothing. No one hangs out on this page listening to music. Money spended are equal to money wasted.

Luckily we only payed about $99 or something like that. But still, money we could have spent on something more than fake messages and fake ranking lists

I have 2 accounts with N1M. I find it funny that I get the exact same messaging on both accounts. The only difference is they change the name of the song that they claim they are so in love with. As I'm typing this, I also remember how I was told that it was not a good thing to have 2 accounts. I see why lmao! Because they don't want to to be able to make a comparison and see that they are full of $#*!!

Here I was soooo excited that one of my songs went to #1 "in all countries". Only to find out that it may have been a scam.

I posted 3 songs for free, more costs money.
I got very positive feedback from people who want to buy my music and they loved my music so much. I tell them they can listen much more of my music on soundcloud for free.
But they never come there. That made me realize these people can't be real.
Because if you really love my music and hear from you that tyou don't have to pay money to listen more you will be very interested.
So people, don't use this site.
All they are out to do is let you pay for more uploads and also for campaigns.
