I got really excited a bout uploading my own songs to n1m and particularly when they reached number one spot for a consecutive three weeks. However things changed dramatically when I inadvertently broke a rule of reviewing other people's songs and publishing that on fb, my phone was struggling to download data in general so I deleted the fb reviews. I was immediately without warning issued with a withdrawal of Review and Earn feature, which virtually stopped me from promoting my own songs. I also got some strange messages from so called other artists suggesting certain things I should do to promote my songs but all of these suggestions needed me to upgrade to a Premium payable subscription. Other genuine artists soon started to tell me of their own concerns and after a number of years they were now leaving. Even though I apologised for my innocent error the admin refused to change their feature withdrawal and wouldn't enter into conversation with me and even editing/deleting my updates to 200 members following me

This site is absolute rubbish they are scammers I was using the recommend and earn and using my blincoins to spot light my account, then they froze my account, now I cant get back in the site to delete my account yet it's still on there and I cant get access, I've sent them emails though the site and they ignore them stay away it's a pile of crap www.soundcloud.com/deanhall

I had been posting music to the site and using their Blincoin recommendation process to earn credit to promote my music. My songs were frequently ranked #1 and I received tons of fan mail. I encouraged all my musician friends to post their music on the site. I was in the process of mastering my catalog for sale on their site and use their professional service when they killed my account.

All of a sudden, they kept telling me my Twitter site was set to private, which it wasn't. I checked and check and checked. I never had set it to private ever.

Every time I reached out to support they would not have a conversation, only send a FAQ on how to change my Twitter setting. Clearly something on their end is broken and they just stopped responding. They even rejected any campaigns to spend my remaining Blincoin.

The ghosting by NumberOneMusic.com's support is completely unprofessional and I regret heading all the warning not to use their site.

I have been on numberonemusic for some years and had 3 songs to play on there and kept getting people loving my music asking where they could buy my music, someone said it was fake and was a scam I did not believe them as they wanted to promote my music. So just yesterday I tried to log into my account to sort out a payment then I noticed I couldn't log in. Even tried forgot my password and it did not recognise my email. So I advise people to stay away from this site it's not legit, thank God I have reverbnation and luckily my fans know my artist name and my reverbnation account has been top 5 to 10 for a very long time. So please whatever you do don't pay n1m they will take money from you and won't even reply your messages. It's a blessing in disguise that I never paid.

I joined and my 3 free songs kept going into top ten as high as # 3 every time i got into top ten it would totally disappear so i wrote to them and asked if only paid accounts got to stay in top ten and they banned me from site glad i did not pay for gold when i wrote to them to ask why they totally ignored me and did not reply in any manor they are a ripoff company do not use this site you can meet other artists but don't do anything that is not free.
Try reverb nation or somewhere else

It's quite simple: as soon as you put some music on it, and N1M allows you to put 3 songs fro free, then you got a host of adorable girls who like your music soooo much, sending you messages in order to know where, when, and how buy your fantastic stuff. Of course, the final aim is to ask you to subscribe to the paying part of N1M, which won't get you any money back, but only a crowd of bots who let you imagine you're popular. All is fake, your rankings, the messages and the people behind, the only real thing is that this site is a scamming portal where musicians and componists are invited to let some money. As Gandalf said it: run away, poor fools!

I just received an email from them letting me know someone wanted to buy my album. The album in question, was released 10 years ago. And is under a different name than mine. I'm actually concerned as to how they were able to contact me. From what I've seen, it's a bunch of bull. And will do nothing for your career. Being a musician in this era, is not easy. Unfortunately, a TON of people know that. And will do whatever it takes to scam you and make you believe you're being listened to. When you really aren't. I'm sorry if that's painful. Trust me. I feel it. But it's the truth. Get your music out there the right away. ITunes, play live shows, get back to the roots of this form of artistry, etc. I hope you all achieve your goals. I hope I achieve mine. But this platform is not the way to do that. It's a stain on our community. And on us, as musicians. Take care.

Like most other people I don't trust this site, just upload your freebies DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING, stick to SoundCloud, I do believe your music gets listened to but that's about it, about a year ago I spammed a message asking all my followers to respond with a quick message as I'd heard it was s Russian scam site, I got shut down and when I tried to find myself on their site, I never existed, make what you will if it, do not pay for it, then do yourself a favour go to SoundCloud

I put two of my songs on this site. I started getting emails from "fans" saying how much they loved my music. They would ask me how to purchase my music. As I don't have my music for sale, I would redirect them to my Soundcloud because that's where all of my songs live. I got a few responses, but for the most part no one responded. I also get emails every few weeks saying I am #1 in the charts. One time, they said I was #1 in my city, province, and country all at the same time. Me!?!?!? I must add that prior to all this I really struggled with alcoholism and other mental health issues, so feeling like I was #1 in the entire country brought me great pride and joy! For months all these emails from N1M made me SO HAPPY! I even screenshotted some of them and shared them on my Facebook! HOW F*CKING HUMILIATING IS IT TO HAVE TO TURN AROUND AND TELL EVERYONE THAT IT WAS ALL A LIE!? I am livid. This is one of the most cruel things I have ever experienced. Like thanks alot, enjoy all your STOLEN MONEY N1M. > :(
