Don't bother asking their "customer service" for help re a product. They are so rude and unhelpful. The rave reviews for their products on their website are written by their employees. Many times, after you've spent time looking for a product on their website, you will find that they are out of stock. And again, if you inquire as to availability, rudeness. IMHO, all of this points to a company not worthy of my trust. There are plenty of alternatives. Stay away from Now.

All these are scammers and crooks at Now Foods including owner son Dan Richard. Their practices violate many laws and ethics.
I highly recommend to buy from other reputed brands.

NOW NAC has mold inside capsules.

NOW response is buyer beware. No refunds or replacements.

Do not buy from NOW.

The fear of being scammed, prompted my call to Now headquarters.
Several attempts were made on my Bank card requesting $.01 cents.
Which were declined by my card. In my experience using
Any online ordering service I had never seen this practice, nor have ever heard of this.
Worried that I might never receive the order that was paid for, because of the $.01 cent request, I contacted Now to voice my concerns.
Of course I now entered the dreaded voice mail loop.
Which sounded like a power point, power Puff cartoon
Character, that went on and on about covid delays with supply lines...etc.etc...
Followed by the most irritating background music
That makes want to hang up or throw your phone at the nearest wall.
Needless to say, by the time someone answered me...
My mood was even more
Upset.
And yes you could classify me as an unruly customer by this point.
After being unsatisfied with any little answers I was given by the gentleman who answered my call...
He took it upon himself to cancel my order. Instead of letting the order arrive within the next 24 hours. Which would have actually compelled me to feel as if I would have owed an apology.
Now I have talked to a dozen people concerning this request for the one cent multiple times on my bank card. The first word out of everyone's mouth is sounds like a scam.
The main reason for my purchase of this fiber supplement is because I have known for many years did the digestive tract is the foundation that the body systems is based upon.
And to find in any drugstore or supermarket or even local vitamin store...a
SUGAR FREE FIBER SUPPLEMENT...
is almost impossible!
By regulating the digestive cycle mobility and quality of life can improve 30 40% right off the bat.
And in my situation 65 years old and having a renal Mass on my kidney...
Relieving pressure by regulating my digestive cycle is a big plus... The product I ordered even with shipping and handling it was actually cheaper than anything I could walk to in my area... And even with the cancellation of the order was a refund a week later it was the last of my money and I can't afford what is available to me within walking distance...
I am very upset with Now e vitamins...
Imagine if all of your suppliers today canceled your orders how that would affect your life.

I have bought many NOW supplements trough the years, I mean a lot! I noticed some will go bad or change color after a while of opening but way before the expiration date.
Recently for the first time ever I reached out to customer service and told them about yellowing of some supplements, the answer was " you left it open, moisture got in hence the yellowing " will never spend a dime on their products again!

Received a bottle of wheat germ oil. Asked for them to replace. Basically they said no. Not really sure why they would not stand by their product.

I placed an order with NOWFoods in May. I was notified by FedEX that my package had been lost in transit. I immediately called NOWFoods to request a refund. One month and three phone calls later I still don't have a refund. I'll be looking for a new brand.

I have recently found the supplement Astaxanthin to be extremely beneficial to my eye health. I have a progressive eye condition called Keratoconus... it is the ongoing thinning and cone shaping of the cornea of the eye. Besides this condition, as I have grown older, by ability to focus for long periods of time on the computer was significantly reduced and the clarity of my eyesight has become strained.

Since taking this Astaxanthin product from Now Supplements for over 2 months now, my eyesight has significantly improved (become sharper) and I am able to spend much longer hours in front of the computer screen.
