Wrote to head office numerous times about my experience at the no frills and they lady Barbara Ann kept telling me oh don't worry we're telling the head owner. Only to be harassed more by the owner at the no frills I am going to as he knew me as he was always in my face and then when I complained got in my face even more. I told the lady she didn't care nor does care. So I was definitely being discriminated against as the owner is a racist. Telling me that he's an immigrant? I'm not sure what he means he can be ignorant and nobody does anything about it. It's funny we have to tip toe around his culture but he can discriminate and harass me without recourse. I'm also an immigrant I told him so I'm not sure what his point was. It seems like anyone can own a store as long as you have money. The company does nothing about it. The no frills on main street east in Hamilton near tisdale. Disgusting. Always in your face he's paranoid people are going to rob him. When he's the one robbing people. The stuff on sale he has only a limited quantity or it's rotten especially the fruit (figs). Plus, if I don't check the receipt there is the wrong price from what the sticker is saying. Like I would steal from the store. He knows I don't steal but still chasing me down. You can't just go shop in the store as he has his dirty baskets in your face I don't want a basket. Leave me alone to shop like I want not like he wants me too. Ridiculous. Being Discrimination against and harassed because I complained.

The 3-bag milk I bought was dated Aug 9, yet when
I opened it on Aug 4, it curdled in my coffee. The milk
Tasted sour and had definitely turned.
When I bought it, I was surprised to learn at the checkout
That it's price was $1.29, as they were "trying to get rid of
It." Obviously in retrospect, their refrigeration failed, but
They'd rather cheat their customers to recover their cost,
Than just dump it.
I told their complaints department, but they said I had to
Bring it back, including the opened bag. When I asked
What to do if the owner still refused a refund, they told
Me I had to contact the dairy.
Take my advice. Stay away from No Frills like the Plague.
They don't give a damned for customers, that's for sure!
I enjoy shopping at NoFrills due to the friendly and hpful staff and the low prices.

I did grocery shopping at 525 Welland Ave in St Catharines. One of my item was overcharged. Came back to the line up and waited for 15 min to mention that. In the response I heard yelling and "$#*!" towards me. Horrible bad experience. Don't go there anymore. First time for my 14 years in Canada. Some staff is criminally brutal. No apologies. Huge disappointment in this store.
We had our house for sale in Calgary and instead of worrying about doing dishes we bought a couple containers of paper plates. We sold the house but didn't use the second container full of plates. It was 15 days and the store policy is 14 days for a return. I told them we were moving and we're going to buy road snacks in the store anyways after returning the unopened product. No dice. I'll miss Calgary but not this store where they have zero compassion even for a long time supporter of their store. If you want better customer service look to another store, definitely not No Frills.
"Darryll & Tracey's" in London… flat-out denied flyer price. No explanation. Just would not honour Zero-Frills" sale price. Avoid this low class store AND chain if at all possible!
I called their Customer support line they were not helpful at all. Told me if I had any enquiries about what they stocked in stores I had to go to the store
Put items on sale at great price and then do not stock the item. Went four days in a row for Royale toilet paper they put in their flyer and told each day it will be in tomorrow. They had not intention stocking the product at the great price. It happens there all the time, to get people in to shop. I left a full cart behind, over $300 worth and went Food Basics who stock sale items regularly. No Frill, being a part of Loblaws, who were charged with price fixing in the past are a chip of their old block. I am done with these fraudsters in Welland Ontario.
I don't know about other Nofrills stores, but the checkout people in the Nofrills store on Denman Street in Vancouver are the rudest checkout workers I have ever come across.
Visited today at 3:30. Website said "not too busy". We were 20th in line and the couple in front asked someone stocking if they could open more than the one cash. He said he was the owner and there was nothing he could do. Really? He couldn't jump on cash himself?
We won't be back.
This location has completely gone down hill since the new owner took over. Empty shelves. Expired and near expired products. Poor selection. Unhelpful staff. AND the most recent experience nailed it for me to never ever shop here again. Two men came in unmasked and walked around the store and shopped and not ONE staff member stopped them. I approached 3 different employees about this and each one said I needed to speak to a Manager. When I spoke to a manager, I was told they are not asking individuals why they are not wearing them and they are 'going to assume' they have medical reasons. I was blown away by this answer. THIS is a reflection on the Management and the new owner. Shame on you! I am guessing you'll be shut down soon either by law enforcement or from bankruptcy.
First and last time there. Parking is a nightmare. Store looks untidy. Prices on standard items are same as every other store. Vegetables such as lettuce are wilted and old looking due to lack of proper care of produce. Do not have advertised specials and NO rain checks. This is typcal of shady businesses who advertise low low prices bring in two items of the low price stuff, suck in a customer so that since they are here they will buy other stuff at regular price. This is true of many No Frills. Perhaps it is corporate policy. Avoid this kind of shady dealing outfit.
I am a regular (white canadian). I was truly shocked to see an asian man was ridiculed by No Frills staffs.
He was waiting in line and out of a blue, a white man and woman questioned him why he was there.
I do not support any form of racism. I do not do business with RACIST Visconti.

YOU HAVE TO BE REALLY CAREFUL IN NO FRILLS PARKING LOT. MY CAR HAS BEEN DAMAGED. THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY. STEPHEN'S NO FRILLS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Terrible customer service! Period!
Tonight, we had the ennui and boredom of engaging in a very negative encounter with "Karen" of Gibson's No Frills (980 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge).
Ellie lacks customer service skills, manners of an adult, and she simply does not listen. Such an employee would always push new customers away. It was my first visit, and I will never go back.
An item had a regular price plus a 50% discount tag. The cashier must apply the discount, and make sure the customer is happy. However, Ellie "Karen of Gibson's No Frills", simply refused. She said that the wrong price was printed on the item (by her coworker), and I (the customer) should either pay the price she liked (regular price as per the tag) or return the item. I returned the item.

Multiple times there were billing errors. Yes they do correct it if ypj catch it then and there. Also some cashiers are arrogant. If you go to express counter, they will ask you to go stand in regular queue until the cashier comes and calls you from the queue. Seriously, then what is the express line for? Atleast keep a board saying those for express line should stand in regular line and the cashier will come fetch you.
Have been NoFrills customers for over 20 year. Very disappointed to discover that NoFrills sells EVEN fish, garlic, smoked salmon etc. - product of China without any alert! Sooooo upset to discover we've been eating Chinese food without even knowing! NO MORE NOFRILLS unless they change!
Horrible customers service on this no frills: manager, supervisor. Owner? No there to listen you. Very upset. Rating, maybe minus 5, not zero.
I exprienced horrible customer service at Nadim's No Frills- Garden Street in Whitby today! I was double charged for an item last Friday and during my regular shopping today I asked for my money back with a receipt. I was told that I needed to have checked my receipt immediately when given to make them aware of double charge. Nofrills I don't check my receipt right away as I trust that you will not double charge! Apologize and correct your mistake instead of shifting blame to customer!
