This company did my partners and i so dirty, i dont know if it was a racial thing or them just handling our trademark with no care in the world. This was our first time getting a trademark so unknowingly without the firm explaining how things work they asked us for our address, not knowing it would be public for everybody in the world to see we willingly obliged.
The firm didn't explain that so we had to pay an extra 150 for the change on top of the 1086 dollar charge for initial filing, and unable to get address redacted without there being severe threat or harm, so now my address is known to the public forever. Then once an examiner reviewed our case it was denied do to it being to close to another trademark that already exits.
And after they saw it was denied they scammed us out of another 1224 dollars saying they needed fees to show proof we were using the name which was all a lie and 4 months later i find out that the trademark is considered abandoned after receiving another invoice From Jennifer a supposed attorney with Nexius ip firm for payment for examination and processing fees of 1750 and 500 for a lawyer to monitor for the next 6 months, this was a possible racist, and definitely careless act on the part of this company, and now they will not answer my calls. Guess what is coming next?

I hired NEXUS IP FIRM on April 3rd, 2024, to assist with filing a trademark for my business. Initially, they informed me I needed to pay for five classes, but after negotiations, they amended it to three classes. I paid a total of $2100 USD for both the Name and Logo, with the understanding that this would cover the filing of three classes under the TEAS Standard application process. However, NEXUS IP FIRM only filed one class under the TEAS Plus process, which cost $250 USD. I feel misled and overcharged for the services provided. I strongly advise others to be cautious and seek more transparent and reliable trademark services.
