The site, at least to me, does not seem user friendly. I am a "snowbird" and have trouble with having two accounts, in the two different states in which I reside. I have given up several times trying.

Next Door offers a way to contact neighbors about day to day needs, advice and assistance. It's Great!

I love connecting with people in my Carrolton world. I give, I ask... always getting good feedback! I also get recommendations for needed repairs, etc.

I love the updates from the police department and learning of suspicious activities in the neighborhood.

I like it when we can build community and help each other as good neighbors. I don't like critics, nasty people, etc. who sometimes spout off. But most of the time, I've enjoyed it and am thankful for it.

Over all I do think Nextdoor is a valuable and useful app. I do have trouble from time to time maneuvering through the app.

Like to stay informed! Up to date crime notices. Great Restruant reviews. Would like to see monthly crime reports in the area!

Stay informed about library events, weather alerts, Harris County updates, neighbor concerns, garage sales, neighbor suggestions for restaurants, lawn care, child care, etc. as well as feedback on products and services good or bad encounters very helpful!

Bringing people together, watching after our children especially our four legged ones. Bringing a level of trust that makes the old neighborhood watch a thing of the past. So much more I would be here all night.

I found that for about 6 months maybe from last fall through winter, I was not receiving any emails from Nextdoor. I checked my settings and everything looked fine. I searched for a contact to help resolve the issue, but found none. Starting in maybe March, I receive multiple emails in a day.

I enjoy keeping up with the news and information from my neighbors. The recommendations for services that we might need and the things that are for sale in the neighborhood as well as garage sales. I also am glad for the updates from the Constables working in our area, what they are doing and the arrests made so we know what they are doing to keep us safe.

I enjoy a lot of the posts people make. Most of them don't have a lot to do with me because I am retired. I have sold several items easily on Next Door.

I think the New Smyrna Next Door badly needs moderators. We have a few people that abuse the intention of the site. Thomas Akin and Lisa Martin seem to be very level-headed and community minded folks if you need any nominations.

Nextdoor is a very helpful neighborhood news and local business referral source. I found it to be very useful and informative.

Keeps me informed of neighborhood activities and concerns.

I don't like that I have to sign in EVERY time I open an email. I never had to do that before. I don't know what changed.
And I don't like the advertisements ahead of the messages on the "daily" email.

I have difficulty maneuvering through it. I don't seem to see all the posts. I don't understand why Pine Ridge is so divided. I like the recommendations but don't like the arguments or nasty comments some people make.

I enjoy reading the comments, for sale and free items, and breaking news plus lost and found animals.
