I have shared my concern about newsbreak a few times, but I failed to share the one thing that many creators are upset about with the platform. Let's get right to the chase. NewsBreak is destroying contributors with the strikes they give out, which started when they added all these new rules to the platform. How do they expect creators to write when there are so many stupid rules in place? That is unnecessary'; I think it's unfortunate that they are giving so many writers issues when it is the writers who make the platform.

I used this app and you can comment on the articles you read. I would run into racists a lot and harassers aka trolls. Well one day a troll decided to troll me and I trolled him back and he didn't like it. After I got annoying he supposedly blocked me but I could still troll him and reporting him for constantly harassing a lady named Sharon and dropping the N word. You think this would get him blocked from the app even with 5 other people reporting him for the same thing. Nope in the end I was blocked from commenting so I deleted your racist loving app.

It's funny to see all the whining and crying about the comment sections being a breeding ground for racism. When the rest of us know it's the media pushing this stuff. And then you have the ones $#*!ing about the racism and calling people cowards for not using their real names and they turn right around and talk $#*! about your opposing political views...(With name calling of course) They are the jokes of the comments section and go running to their safe spaces at the first site of someone that doesn't agree with their whacked out views. Great entertainment for the rest of us.

The racism, bigotry, false information, threats, discrimination, violence, hate crimes etc., etc. Is rampant on this site in the discussion threads. You can report abuse, but nothing changes. The same users saying the same mean, vicious and often times vulgar things are still there...

So obvious of lifting liberal agenda. Nothing good to say about conservatism. We need BALANCED news information. That's why we are going down hill as a country. Too many people think news is true news.

Newsbreak has so many good news stories, sometimes I cant put my phone down. The articles come from different sources. I believe all are true. I didnt know Celine Dion has spasms and is very sick. Regular News on TV never reported this. The comments are more interesting than the stories. I love that they give people a chance to give their input about a story. Regular news is forbidden to report news against the vaccine. Here we see both sides. Yes some comments are unagreeable but we must choose not to respond to them. Overall the news stories report true news that is hidden by regular news channels. I love news break. Keep up the good work.

I downloaded the app during the start of the pandemic. This was a huge mistake. Reading stories that are misleading, old recycled stories from years ago, stories with so many typos and worded horribly, etc. Don't get me started on the comments section. While I have had a few healthy debates with people who have a difference in opinion without the name calling, the bad outweigh the rest. The trolling is out of control along with the racists. They can have it all. I've already uninstalled the app from my phone.

In the 8 min I have been on this app it has shut down 5 times and rebooted the app it happens ever day I try to read so I am now deleting it and will tell everyone I know to defeat it as well. Really are we all that stupid to load a app on our phone created by our enemys this is a China owned app lord only knows what there trying to take off or put in our phones. Every one needs to ban this app...

There are diverse articles from multiple news sources. Some (many more than I thought at 1st) articles are bias; and details questionable; as some media outlets can be.

Forgive the length pls! I know my review is a small novel, but I tried to Include as much as I could for everyone!

Use this app w/caution! I wouldn't advise for children; nor (sometimes) adults! It will completely depend on what you read, your own personal views, if you read/make comments on this app; and how; you perceive & react to certain topics, issues, etc. It can be enjoyable to comment & read & ppls com. Especially w/ppl who are introspective & have multiple, sometimes opposing views. Yet is can really get bad sometimes on Newsbreak! MANY ppl in the comm. Sect. Can be rude, vulgar, hateful, intentionally hurtful! Maybe sometimes for attn.? Many, I was saddened & surprised to find, are racist comments of hate spewing ideology. I understand Newsbreak can't control man's hate, & the awful lang. It creates. What would be nice is if they enforced their own racial discrimination policy/laws better; if they even have any, not sure?! So beware; the comments can be more than offensive! Although Newsbreak does collapses some of the offensive comments; however, sadly; many remain! Personally; I like to pray for the ppl; sometimes I get the honor of answering a? For them! Other times, I learn from them. I don't mean this to sound condescending; there are a lot of lost ppl to pray for on that app; after all, we all could use prayer; that's what I figure?! There are many different topics to suit your interest.
From news, sports, entertainment, animals, science, and health; just to name a few! You may also modify, and set your preferences to the types of articles that you are interested in and would like to see the most. The comments section is my favorite part! You can see other's comments, and voice your opinions by leaving a comment as well; it's fun and very interactive! Plus the app download is FREE; bonus!

A few negatives, some advertised offers, that appear (in between) the articles, as you scroll down; are scams! I wish Newsbreak would monitor and remove these fraudster scams! Be careful & aware! Check (ie., Google) to see if the company that you're ordering from, is legitimate; before you order! These scam company website's look very real, (even to an experience person) and as if they're from reputable companies! Such as Walmart, Costco, and Wayfair. And yes, sadly; I fell for one. (Maybe I put too much trust in Newsbreak that they wouldn't offer such scams on their app) I became a victim partially because I'm inexperienced, and because I was excited to buy my loved one the gift I saw offered. One could say that I am guilty of allowing my emotions to cloud my judgement. In my defense, even my friend, who is a seasoned internet/social media scam pro.; said the website looked legitimate to him. Although he, noticed there were a few, very hard to notice to the untrained eye, indications; that it could be a scam. Like an elusive missing S, that I'll mention in just a moment!
I'm new to social media; I know I'm a dinosaur! I live in a little rural town. No high speed internet yet! I finally got an iphone; what freedom! I've heard about these scammer's! Nonetheless; I fell for one when I ordered the gift.
To my disappoinment, the scam company that I ordered from; was on the Newsbreak app.

Here's what happened.
I ordered a watch for $49.00 w/s/h, from a (supposedly) patriotic/Christian store. It makes me soo angry that they used politics, and especially my faith to scam me,
(a disabled/sheltered middle aged person) as well as the elderly, and other's who wrongly, yet innocently, trust Christian affiliated website's! In this case the fraudulent website was; The Christian Way. But that's why they're called scammer's, right?! They don't care about you, you're their victim; and their (unearned) paycheck.
I checked Google, good I thought, this company appears on Google; must be legitimate! But naively, I didn't recognize that the legit company, that I seen on Google, was only one letter (an S, at the end) off; from the scam company that I; naively ordered from!
As I mentioned, the scam company looked soo legitimate; they'd done their homework! I even received an email confirmation (payment was accepted) my $49.00 watch order was on its way.
Days after I ordered the watch, I received my bank statement. I noticed that the very fraudulent company, had charge me for the gift I'd ordered. As well as four other items; that I did not authorize or order! With a very REAL, Grand Total of $179.00! I was frustrated at myself for being gullible; I was scammed! Luckily I caught it early enough; I was able to reverse the charges and cancel my credit card! Hallelujah, a win for the good guys I thought! I really hope Newsbreak, will address; and remove these awful fraud/scammer's from using their app! I'm sure this harms Newsbreak's image; to many!

One other negative about this app is that you cannot edit your comment; once you've posted it. You are however offered the option to delete it; after posting it.

Lastly, on a positive note, I very much enjoy that you receive a notification, if someone responses to a comment that you've made. Even after you're done reading that article, or if you've already logged off; you will still be notified someone has replied to your comment. And you can reply to that person then, as well! Very cool and fun!

I get so pissed everytime i even decide to click on the comments of a article…. Full of disgusting racists. People happy with child death, mass killing of millions and much worse… cant stand it. I hope those people perish. They are all so stupid

I've been writing for Newsbreak for almost six months. In that time they've changed their contract 3 times, given different contracts to different people, promised opportunities that never came and then removed base pay for articles from most articles while letting some people keep it while making it sound like no one received it any longer. You never knew what was going to happen from month to month in terms of money and what they expected of you also changed from month to month. At first they would accept almost anything, then they wanted just news, then just local news, then hyperlocal news which is allegedly what they cut base pay over, and now that they've done that it seems they no longer want hyperlocal news but will take any kind of news and other content besides. They went from wanting only breaking news to welcoming evergreen content and even recipes! They now base payment for those whose base pay was cut on RPM (rate per mille or amount earned for 1000 views) but haven't told us how RPM is determined. I have recieved rates which range from 2 to 11 and it seems that the more views I get the lower the RPM and vice versa. I don't think Newsbreak operates in good faith and I don't think they have planned out how they intend the creator program to operate which is why it changes every single month.

The Newsbreak app is full of falsehoods and is created and operated by the Chinese Government to cause further division and weakness in USA. They have sensational attention-grabbing headlines to articles with fictitious claims such as a recent one that claims there are existing medications on the market that kill the Covid-19 virus. Yet no other news source here or abroad is reporting that. Why? Because there is absolutely no facts to support these false claims. Newsbreak tricks Americans with false hope and should be removed immediately.

This is the most Racist News App that I've been reading. I'm in the process of deleting this App. All they do is criticize Black People. This App doesn't have anything Positive only Negative.
