Review Content: I am writing to formally protest the deceptive practices and breach of agreement by Mytrip (Etraveli Group).
On January 11th, I discovered a price discrepancy during booking and immediately requested a full refund. I established a clear, conditional instruction during the chat: "If a full refund is not possible, I will not proceed with the cancellation/refund.". The agent explicitly confirmed this by saying, "Of course," and assured me not to worry.
However, Mytrip's subsequent actions were a total betrayal of this trust:
Unilateral Processing: Despite my instruction to stop the process if "full refund" was unavailable, Mytrip proceeded without further consultation.
Extreme Delay: After notifying me on Jan 19th that they had applied for a refund, they made me wait for over 6 months only to send a rejection notice on July 26th.
Absurd Outcome: They claimed the airline's refund was lower than their "handling fee," resulting in a $0 refund for me. This is a direct violation of our initial agreement where I stated I would not cancel if such a loss was expected.
Mytrip ignored the customer's explicit "stop" condition and prioritized their handling fees over a documented agreement. This is not just a policy matter; it is a fraudulent business practice that ignores consumer rights. I have submitted all chat transcripts and email evidence to the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA) and will demand a full investigation into this unethical conduct.

Kind of slow. I first used an American Express card. Then had to change & start over. The NFC I was a little confused since it's my first time. Had to go to settings to turn on.
It seems scammy that the price suddenly increases at the last possible moment. Will inform FTC, as this seems a consistent practice across multiple 3rd party sites too.

Unenough information ( I wondered whether my baggages are going to be checked automatically - I mean is it need to collect & re-check baggage, but I couldn't check it.)
Wat too many add-ons and upcharges for things that should be free (like $10.00 to "try" and seat you together). This is absurd. The upcharges added up to way more than the cost of the flight. This feels like fear mongering to scare people into spending more than they should. I still gave three stars because it was easy to use (except the decline offer buttons are hidden, yet another trick to try to get people to pay unwanted costs) and cheap.

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
