Lured in with a personality test and then trapped into monthly subscription after the payment of $2 for the results of the test. When I called, they said I "agreed" to a 7-day free trial & a monthly subscription by purchasing results of the test. Which btw, the date they charged me on doesn't make sense because if I am in a "7-day free trial", I am not out of the trial yet? I told them to cancel my subscription and refund my money, now they "can't find my account associated with my email" EVEN THOUGH I was already logged into said account when I simply just googled MyPersonality to see where the charge was coming from. My "password" that it claims I made is not anything I would ever use, so I tried to reset and now its telling me I don't exist in their system. WELLL I existed long enough for you to charge me! STAY AWAY. They just want to lock you into a subscription you will never be able to get out of.

I reached out to the support staff at mypersonality.net after seeing reoccurring charges in my bank account. After 36 emails, 5 different "support" staff members telling me they can't find my account, (and whose emails were associated with "PersonPay"?), and 3 weeks of frustration and confusion, I have finally just been told my "subscription" was cancelled. I really hope it's true since they didn't provided any further confirmation besides "we've cancelled it". They also did not tell me what email address my account was even found under…. This company was a nightmare to work with.

Spent 10+ minutes just to be met with a page, that does NOT show your result, instead asks for your credit card information. Scummy. The result for the test is behind a PAYWALL. They take your data and will never give you the result unless you subscribe to a monthly subscription.

Don't be scammed
December 27, 2024

I took a long time and was very careful and thorough hoping that perhaps I could gain a little insight. At the end, after devoting time and effort they asked for my card, betting desire for meaning to pay the two dollars for the results. Yep, I paid. Five minutes later, I tried to cancel the order and have no way to do this! If I cannot figure out how to reach them, they will charge me nearly 30 dollars a month for NOTHING. Also, they used the wrong email so I never even read the stupid results! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! I feel stupid for doing this. Thought I was smarter than that, but I'm feeling vulnerable today.

Big waste of time!
March 1, 2024

No clue you have to pay to get any result at all. It's easy enough to do but you have to agree or disagree to each question when a sliding scale would be more accurate.

Shady dump of a site
December 13, 2023

Just a site to take advantage of people. Followed a misleading ad that stated it was a test for a personality disorder. Just curious and in a state. I didn't get the results since you need to share your info with 3rd party marketers. It's disheartening. Oh yeah, it was definitely a Meyers Briggs test and you have to pay for lololol. Hacky garbage. So many cooler scam ideas uncreative losers.

Exact like other people said. Its a much WORSE and PAID version of the 16 personalities (and on 16 personalities you get more explanation and it's free). No matter what test you were taking, it gives your MBTI results.

Misleading
October 11, 2023

The site is a waste of time. It demands payment without any prior warning when all other sites will at least give you a sample. They also want nearly $30 a month just to access a basic MBTI chart that you can get free from most other sites.

This disgusting revenue model should be considered fraud. If they want to charge for the initial results, that would be fine, but they are banking on shafting you for $27.88 per month for the rest of your life. Scratch that... If you are married, these scams continue to charge every month even decades after your death (in cases where your spouse still has the active account from when you were alive.)

Say no to the abuse.

I'm simply struggling just to figure out life, so I do a personality test and then they make me pay after spending so much time on it? Nope not doing that again, waste of time.

Not much to add to the title - it's a pure scam website that only mentions payment after you already took the test, but before showing you any results. Wouldn't be surprised if they also sell your personality type to 3rd parties. Stay away!

Scam
January 12, 2023

Literally tried to take one of those dumb personality tests that are like "omg are you entj or infp?" and those losers tried to not only sign me up for their spam garbage mailing list, but also charge me to see my results! This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that the test was stolen and there was zero indicator of any of those downsides when I began the fifty question test. Hope these losers rot, I'm glad I used a temporary email.
