I used myperfecfCV in 2023 and paid a small, one off charge so that I could download my CV. Almost 2 years later they have been taking £16.99 out of my account every month! I've received no emails or any contact from them telling me that this was happening. Avoid at all costs, so upsetting to see that I've lost hundreds of pounds to this thieving company.

I had a bad experience with myperfectcv.co.uk as they kept charging me 89 AED every month after I ended my subscription with them.
Upon contacting their support team, their answer was that my account is not active and they are not charging me while I was charged every month.
Be careful and don't add your card details.

I am very upset, the first time I used it, I paid about 10 for 7 days, then my debit card number was registered in my account without my permission and the amount became about 90 per month, still without my permission or information. I discover it today when I checked my bank account, I saw that they took this amount from my account twice. This is unacceptable and kind of a criminal thief. I cancel the subscription today and i hope i will never hear from you again, I will never use it again. I am very very upset. 😤😤😤

I found the CV tools easy to use but it wasn't obvious you would be charged until I went to save it!
That was quite stressful after doing all the work! However I was pleased with the CV. I didn't realise after the initial £1.95 for 3 weeks it would then be a subscription for £16.95 monthly.
I called customer service and the advisor I spoke to was nice and understanding. He fortunately gave me other options so I decided to keep with them after the compromise.
Definitely worth contacting Customer Service before deciding whether to cancel.

Or son used this site trying to get a little job to help with school he signed up to a free trial and the it was supposed to be a student fee of £3 or so but no they charged over £16 a month clearing his account until he had no money left, we didn't realise until his bank statement came. My prefect cv offered to refund £5! Absolutely disgusting behaviour absolutely no care at all.
Do no use especially for students as once they get your card serials they will keep clearing it with no exception.
