This is a great store. Great selection, great prices and great customer service. I've done business with them dozens of times and never had a problem. They deliver on time, every time. Top notch.
I recently bought a Gibson Les Paul Buckethead at the site, it took a lot of anguish as I lost faith in the email system, so I called up and dealt with Nick in customer service. I got my guitar and they produced eventually.
In the end it's Gibson USA, not the little guy.
This site is great. I had purchased a refurbished Numark professional dual cd player from them at a wonderfully reasonable price. When it arrived, there were no cosmetic damages to it and it still works like a champ (even after seven years of my heavy usage). When I need to purchase anything else, from lighting to guitars, recording gear to amps, I most certainly will go there. I recommended them to friends and colleagues or anyone else who is musically inclined that don't want to break the bank.
I trust musiciansfriend to give me the most bang for my buck. I've bought a lot of music gear from this site, along with the rest of my band and out of all the gear we have, the only problem that occured was electrical problems in my Epiphone G400. This has nothing to do with musiciansfriend compared to Gibson/Epiphone manifacturing. Still, this is one of the best music gear sites out there.
The web site promise shipment date on 2/11/2011. But it never come. After calling customer service, they don't have any inventory for it until 2/28/2011. There is no notification of the order delay and the web site keep cheating on customers about the deliver date.
The best instrument selling site on the web! I have gotten most of my guitars from this site. No shipping costs, 45 day return, its all good! This site is legit if anyone wants to question otherwise, as it is the sister company of Guitar Center. This site is also endorsed by many players and have interviews with artists on youtube!
I have bought many things from Musician's Friend including a new Getzen trumpet for my son. They are very professional and always easy to deal with. Plus they have great deals! They allow you to try the instrument for up to 45 days and you can return it for a refund if you are not happy with it. How cool is that?!
