Poor customer service
January 23, 2025

Bought a soldering station, but there were no instructions on changing the tip. After 3 emails and having the blame for the problem put onto me, I have to contact the Manufacturer direct. I dont recommend this seller.

Typical scammy bastard.

Buy elsewhere. Takes your money and isn't interested in replacing the faulty junk they sell. Worst service ever hiding behind walls of 'terms and condition'.

Dud 12 volt ATV Battery
January 22, 2024

Mr Positive came up with an online search for a PowerSonic battery with a price that looked good/ too good to be true? Took a punt and ordered it. Shipping price $25 was steep, I thought. Battery arrived OK and timely. Voltage on battery 10 volts, so put on a CTEK smart charger with correct charging mode selected but it failed to get above 11.1 volts and the charger reported a 'failed battery'. I made a claim online which is called a "Dispute", a term which suggests how this is going to play out. The return address is a P.O Box, (not a physical address) which Couriers wont accept for delivery, so had to go to an Post shop (who do accept P.O.Boxes), to post the battery back. This cost $12 (half Mr Postives cost for delivery). After waiting for a response for three weeks over Xmas/New Year and hearing nothing, I rang the number *******442 (a number only supplied on the Dispute form but not on the web site), to get and answerphone and a message that they were all busy. Left a message. Four days later rang a second time and left another message...Hmmm...A dodgy dealer one might think...leave well alone
UPDATE So how did this play out?:
Posted a letter in February 2024 seeking redress. Email exchanges took place. Money reimbursed. Both parties unhappy.

Pathetic service
September 14, 2023

Bought a LiFePo battery and charger.
Charger does not seem to work, so phoned to get some help. No answer...
Eventually reverted to email, and the reply was "we sell 350 different chargers, too difficult to help"...
Go elsewhere!

Unclear and unhelpful
June 2, 2022

I recently purchased some ******* batteries from their website. I automatically assumed that as they are a standard battery then they are a standard size, in the same way you expect and AA or AAA to always be the same size.

Once I received the batteries it turns out this is not the case. I emailed the supplier asking if I could get a replacement that was the correct size but was told if they are out of the packing then no and the size was listed on the website so I should have known.

I responded saying that if they had made it clear that this particular brand differed from the basic standard of 18mm x 65mm (hence then name) I would have checked that, but as I had never encountered the fact that this was even possible why would I bother.

The seller was not at all sympathetic and after a couple of exchanges block my email address. So now I have $180 dollars worth of unusable batteries.

My advice to you, shop elsewhere.

Very Negative Experience
April 1, 2022

Sent my goods to another city. No worries - mistakes happen. Very poor attitude re fixing issue. More concerned with recovering goods than delivering satisfaction. Smarmy manner. Not at all recommended.
