Recieved horrible, grainy prints and put under the hassle of sending them back to get a refund. The shipping barcode they sent hasn't worked with FedEx and I'm still stuck with worthless prints and out $54.00. I hope customer service will do something.
I ordered over 200 pictures for my son's graduation from Mpix, based on a photographer's' recommendation. However, the quality of the wallets I received was very disappointing. Their photo paper is super thin, even thinner than a regular photo you would get at any other retailer for photos. It is wobbly in your hand when you move it! I am embarrassed to hand these out, honestly, but due to the timeline of our events, I am stuck with them. They are nothing like other senior pictures I received from friends. The website showed them stacked thick, and I feel it was not accurately represented. Also, the printing on them is quite small and very hard to even notice, and I made it as big & bold as it allowed. I am disappointed I decided to try a new company for such an important event to us, and assumed paying more than competitors would generally warrant higher quality.
My review is based just on the product I ordered. Not on the company. They were wonderful, receptive customer service is amazing. With that said, I ordered a piece called a stand out. It's quite expensive but the quality is poor. The board bows and does not sit flush against the wall. And the picture started peeling from the board within a couple of days. Definitely not worth the money and really disappointed.
I recently sent some two separate photo orders to Mpix. The order process was easy enough and all arrived just fine. The problem is the photos are completely unusable. The file I sent they stated showed some reflected light on part of the photos. My problem is, they printed the photos knowing they would not look good. If the file I sent was not appropriate for printing, they should have notified me so I could have done something. Instead, they made terrible unusable prints, charged my credit card and shipped the rotten reprints to me. I will never use this company again as they have NO QUALITY CONTROL. They should look at the pictures they are making.
Had photos of Colorado high mountain scenery from a backpacking trip. The camera was a compact, high quality, waterproof.
Decided to make an album at Walgreens. The album came back out of order, but they corrected this. The printing and paper quality were disappointing. Not just the picture quality, but there were lines through the pages like the printer was having problems.
So we tried Mpix... Right off the bat, we noticed that Mpix was not as user friendly to arrange photos. But with some practice, we could accomplish what we wanted. The price was higher with Mpix, but not out of sight (we ordered the highest quality photo paper).
Then we received the album! WOW! The photos jumped off the page at you. The color and clarity was stunning. We stitched some panoramic pictures together, which had slightly different resolution and exposure. Mpix printed them on one sheet of paper with uniform resolution and brightness. The personal touch was obvious!
So even with the higher cost we give 5 stars, because we rate for finished product. Anxious to try their other products!
Mpix did a great job with my photos. Three 8x11 printed perfectly and sent in a timely fashion. Prices were fantastic as well.
I paid for expedited shipping and received about 25 of someone else's prints, and I was missing about 25 as well. They offered to pay for the missing prints but I needed all prints, and couldnt wait for a reprint from them either. I would have rathered them take their time by another day and give me the correct prints. All in all a waste of time as I needed all the prints.
Order my daughter's senior picture printd from mpix.com and got them in a timely manner. Also we had one sheet of wallets that had a smudge and I contacted customer service and received new ones within a couple days. I got all different sizes and they were all great quality. I plan on ordering my other daughter's picture from them next year.
My cell phone photos came out looking like professional photos. The quality is amazing, with fantastic colors and crispness. Photos are very sturdily packaged (not rolled, but sent flat in a box). Surprisingly, each time I've ordered I've received my photos three days later. When I accidentally ordered the wrong size photo, I contacted customer service to ask if I could return the photo and pay the difference for the next largest size. Instead, they offered to let me keep the photo and then sent me a coupon code for 50% off the size I wanted. That photo arrived in three days as well. I can't recommend enough!
I ordered my Daughters graduation pictures from Mpix. They got to my home in just a few days and they were great. I would order from Mpix again.
Designed a photobook on mpix. Added it to the cart and purchased it. Almost immediately I realized I forgot something and sent them an email. My response was "Sorry we cannot make any changes" Really, I don't think so. I'll go elsewhere now.
I messed up my order very badly and I used the Live chat and talked with someone there. They not only were patient in walking me through the steps to fix my photos but they also went to my cart, cropped all 40 of my photos for me and had them shipped back out for free! Just amazing and I will only use Mpix for all my future orders. Thank you Tim! A+
Used Mpix for the 1st time last week for a wildlife print--Arrived 3 days after ordering and absolutely perfect quality. I can't imagine any better service.
We sent them professional photos, and we received black prints with the objects unidentifiable. Terrible customer service.

I've used Mpix for a few years now. I am so happy with them. I love how easy it is to navigate their website and upload photos for printing. I recently enlarged a couple of photos for competition 16x20 and they came out beautiful.The quality is wonderful and the paper is just as great. I took 3 days from ordering to arrive at my front door. That is pretty amazing. I always Mpix recommend my clients for prints and enlargements. I think they are the best for the price & quality.
DONT ORDER FROM THEM. I am never going to order from this waste of time company again. I tried them once and submitted an order online at 5pm PST and wrote them at 7:50am the very next day asking to modify a 5x7 order. The customer representative named "Molly" wrote back with such an opaque response completely avoiding the issue and just simply stated "it must suck having problems being a first time customer but it is what it is!" And left it. What the hell?! How can you be of zero help with an issue? Not only did she avoid my question, she didn't even try to answer it. I wish wholeheartedly that I went with Shutterfly or even Kinkos instead of this unprofessional, low-grade company. Nowhere on their website do they even inform me of the fact that I absolutely 100% cannot make any modifications.

I have placed several orders with MPix so I was shocked when they recently canceled my order because they found the photos "objectionable." The irony... this order that MPix cancelled actually contained photos that MPix had printed before! I asked about the change in policy, but the customer service person denied that the policies had changed. She said that people at the lab just weren't aware of the policy so the company is inconsistent. Apparently, if the lab tech who gets your photos doesn't like them, MPix doesn't require them to print them. White Hall in Germany does just as good of work, charges about the same, and delivers just as quickly. Screw MPix. White Hall all the way.
