I have read many negative reviews about people blaming Movie Star Planet for their accounts being compromised. I wrote a review back in 2016 when my sons account was hacked. Movie Star Planet resolved my issue. Please be aware that another kid offered him free VIP for a month. They asked for his password, then took over the account. All I had to do was email Movie Star Planet and let them know what occurred. They ask for the user name and the receipt where you paid for the month. After its verified, the person that stole your account is locked out and your account is recovered. Please understand that this can happen on any website these days if you give any of your personal information out. Parents need to know that the actions are all voluntary. You can offer free gifts from one user to another. Also give your earned money to other users and so forth. You have the option to block people and decide who is on your friends list. Once you give stuff away, there is no way to recover what is gifted. Therefore, parents should monitor their online use and speak to their children on the dos and donts. This website is great and my son still uses it to this day. Thanks for an awesome website Movie Star Planet!

MSP is a great website, however I think that there are ways to make it even better, for example maybe we could introduce some new games such as a 'match making game' where it asks you a series of questions to match you to another user. I think that this will be very successful and introduce more member because everyone is OBSESSED with dating on MSP. Another problem with MSP is that its very hard to gain money, I know that this was intentional to create more VIP users but for me to get at least 600 coins to buy one item it takes about a week! Maybe you could create some events or challenges with Pixie Star to gain money - just an idea. Lastly, when I go on the dress up game and if you happen to wear a hat or an accessory, the game wont let you take it off so if you are dressing as a 'fairy' for example and you are wearing a beanie its very unlikely that you're going to win as the best dressed person. Anyway sorry for this long essay about MSP but I hope you can agree or use some of my idea to make MSP better than it already is.

MSP hates children, which is odd since it's a game ONLY for children. I'm a parent & I'm appalled by how their customers are treated. If adults were playing this game, it would've been shut down years ago because we would not put up with their poor customer service.
I do believe that MovieStarPlanet preys on the inexperience of children & their parent's wallets. Some examples: locking out accounts for bogus reasons; locking accounts for NO reasons; not saving items in the accounts that were mistakenly locked; not looking into reports before banning & just going by the reports of other users, true or not.
It's funny--the locking of accounts is usually after paying for VIP. They take your money & run. If you are locked out & fight it, they will sometimes let you back in, but your art books that you worked so hard on will be gone. Your friends will be gone. If you're a child playing this, that can be traumatic.
Beware before spending money on this game. What matters to them most is getting their money, not the happiness of their customers, who are children. That is why Movie Star Planet HATES children.

My 8 year old daughter plays this game, she interacts with her school friends on here and other children. I paid for her to be VIP for 2 months, then the last month she wanted a year so whilst she was Vip in her last month and had around 12 days left i purchased a year whilst it was on a half price deal £30. When her 12 days were i assumed it would keep running BUT they stopped her VIP and told me because she had longer than 8 days she purchased star coins and wasnt entitled to the VIP. It apparently would be on the reciept which i didnt get so ive wasted basically £30 for nothing. She has had other children call her ugly and trolling ia the norm, but they ban her when she accidently wrote hell instead of bell but to bully is ok. She will no longer be playing and id advise children stay away. Complete rip off!

Hi I'm having the same problem My mum bought me VIP on movie star planet and then a couple of days later I got locked off do you think they are getting kids mums to buy VIP and then they chuck them off and they say ha more money for us if I was you I would not recommend buying VIP tell your children it's not safe for them to go on it that's what my mum said to me and I understood what she told me because my mum has spent £30 on movie star planet and every time I get it a few days later they would kick me off

I have several issues with this website.

1. It's near impossible to even do anything. In order to buy new things, you have to have hundreds of coins. You can usually get maybe 20-40 per game you play.

2. People cheat. There are games where players pick the winners (craziest cards and a fashion game). Most people will set up deals, meaning that if you continue to vote for them, they'll vote for you. Ensuring that it's mostly the two of you who win, which effectively ruins the game for the other players.

3. Beggars- Oh my gosh, the beggars. They'll continually ask you to vote for them so that they can win. And if that's not annoying, try saying no to one of them. It's like all hell broke loose, causing drama on a game that should be fun. When people ask me, I typically tell them that I don't vote for people who ask, in fact that makes me not vote for them even if I think they're the best choice. Then they act like they're being killed.

4. So much inappropriateness!- I've seen people ask where someone lives so they can come rape them, young girls asking for sugar daddy's, and so many people saying sexual things. This one dude started telling a little girl he was going to give her a golden shower, and then started to explain in detail what it was! When I private messaged the girl, she said she was 11! COMPLETELY inappropriate.

5. Bullying- I think this is enough to be said on the subject. I was speaking with my girlfriend in private chat, and she started getting trashed by a random girl we didn't even know.

This site is completely awful, and should be taken down. Keep your kids far away. This isn't worth the trouble.
