My experience with momentum was terrible. I realized that even junior staff can manipulate you payment records and make you feel like you owe them more. Ezua japa almost destroyed me, imagine making monthly payments for twelve months just to realize that you still owe them the same amount you took, and to make matters worse, nobody explains this to you when taking the loan. And not forgetting the hidden charges. I have a lot to type, but generally you need to understand what you get yourself into
Better go to bank or other credit players, going to momentum is like going into a death trap. They're only good n quick in giving but never mind about listening to their clients. This is a robbery zone n their relations officers are so arrogant. Try at ur own risk. I tell u will be dead in months.
Stay away from these leeches.
This is just a pathetic excuse of a company with the mostly inefficient and confused internal systems and staff. I had the most terrible experience with them last year with them forcing me to pay a loan over a long period so I can pay more interest by them holding money already paid to them in a "suspense account".
Fast forward later they come up with a product called ezua chapaa designed to allow you to make payments anytime you want. It works fine untill you can no longer make payments by yourself and they have to capture the payments manually. Which would be fine if they actually did it on time. But you'll make a payment today and they'll effect it days later. And that's if you follow up. If you dont your account just keeps racking up interest on a debt you already paid but they didn't effect.
These people will send you to your grave early just find a sacco or some other solution to your emergency.
Kenyaloans.com are the ones who recommended Momentumcredit.co.ke after a lengthy consultation. Since the security I offered (title deed) was not what they specialized in, they likewise gave a fairly reliable and relevant commendation with contacts to make.
