MMOGA

It was with some trepidation that I decided to order a copy of Microsoft Office Pro 2013 at £56.90 from MMOGA.
Although there were some good reviews there were many poor ones. However, since payment was via (secure) Paypal, I figured if it went pear shaped, the most I could lose would be a bit of inconvenience.

I am the Managing Director of an international mail order company so I probably have the unique experience of seeing both sides of problems, as a customer and a seller.

I placed my order and was asked to confirm through a telephone number. They stated there had been a number of fraudulent orders and the seller had requested an additional security check. I just used my cell phone to confirm and the order was fully accepted. Also note this company seems to be an agent for many sellers. Anyway I then received an email with a link to download the program and a key to activate it.

I used the link to Microsoft and was asked to open a Microsoft account which I did. I then entered the key and downloaded the program as a file.
I then installed the file in my computer.

So far so good...

Opening the program I was then asked to activate and there were two choices, internet or telephone. I ticked internet and a message came up "key has already been used".

Having read reviews about emails not being answered I wondered what would happen so I sent in a polite request for assistance. It was a Saturday so I did not expect to get an answer until Monday at the earliest.

I received an answer the following day on a Sunday "we are sorry for you experiencing complications with your product.
Please take a screen shot both of the entered (!) key as well as of the appearing error message and send them to us."

This could have been an automated message it does not sound like one but I did sent the screen shots on Monday morning. Later that day I received another email, "please try to phone Microsoft Hotline to activate the key" which I did. The program then activated and works great.

So why is it that this company receive poor reviews. I could be wrong, but this is my opinion -

1. In all dealings with them I was professional, business like and respectful. I asked for assistance and did not complain. When I read some of these reviews I see some very inappropriate language and if these customers send emails along the same lines, maybe this is a company who simply press the delete key when they read them?

2. If there is a problem, it is best to give a company an opportunity to put it right. Just give them the facts and ask for assistance.

3. They are agents for sellers so give them time to contact the seller for a solution.

4. Whatever happens stay cool. What is the point in losing your cool? You have paid through Paypal and so if you do not receive the goods, as a last resort, you can claim a refund through Paypal. As already stated what have you got to lose except a bit of inconvenience?

I wish i had of read these reviews before purchasing, I didn't think to check as the website seems legit and they accepted Paypal.

I purchased a 5 game random Steam Key pack and Rollercoaster tycoon world ultimate totaling AU$90.90. As soon as the sale went through Paypal I received an email requesting phone verification, which I was willing to do. However my number was not accepted (I doubt any are) and the next email requested my drivers licence, signatures and a new clear photo, WTF! There is no way in hell I would ever do that and alarm bells were ringing loud and clear. I immediately sent an email requesting a refund and opened up a dispute with Paypal.

Please do not buy from this site! I have no idea if my money will be refunded. There website states guaranteed delivery in 5-10mins and states nothing about handing over all these documents just to buy computer games. Ridiculous.

All went smooth, took the payment from PayPal then got an email from them wanting me to show them my passport, a selfie, my signature and a bunch of other info on a form. To buy a $10 game!

I thought it was a joke at first but seriously, they don't need this information to sell you a game, if you're mug enough to hand it over then don't be surprised when your identity gets stolen in the future.

They have no right to ask for this information especially after the sale has already gone through because then they have your money and are basically holding you to ransom for your details.

Don't do it. 1 star is 1 too many.

I read the reviews and was hesitant to follow through but the price for the game was just amazing so I decided to give it a go and see. Here is what happened to me;

I recently purchased 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition'. After completing my payment (PayPal) I got an e-mail about ID verification. I tried the phone first up but it said that it was unavailable so then went on to needing photo ID (drivers license because I didn't have a passport), filling out a form (order number, paypal email and a couple of other things I can't remember off the top of my head) and a photo of me and my photo ID. I sent those things about 20 minutes after my order was completed and sent support an email wondering how long it was going to be (around 2-3 hours after the order was complete). I got an email back saying that the item I ordered was out of stock (mind you when I ordered it the site said it was available) and that they don't have an ETA on when they expect to have it back in but will try to get it in ASAP. After receiving that email I sent support saying that I want a refund or at least an ETA on when it is due in and if that don't follow though I will be filling a complaint through PayPal. I got an email back asking to be patient and the item is due back in the next couple of hours, around an hour (give or take 15 minutes) after I got that email I got another with the steam code to activate it.

Why else would they want your face, picture of your passport to show that it's your face on the passport, the page that has EVERYTHING on it... $#*!ers

Overall rating should be 5/5 but on an ASSHAT scale.

EDIT: After escalating this as a Case with PayPal and after sending MMOGA an email, MMOGA reversed the PayPal charges. This was not a case of PayPal just reviewing then reversing the payment but was done by MMOGA. MMOGA's claim that they needed verification of payment was BULL$HIT otherwise how would they know what to refund?!
So yeah, STAY AWAY from MMOGA, asshats...

Avoid buying from these guys at all cost. I purchased a CD key for wildstar from them, but it was one of those EU only buddy keys and not an actual retail CD key. It was listed nowhere that the key would be EU exclusive, and I live in the NA region. They refused a refund.

In addition to that, they are also gold sellers, which is illegal activity in most games. Gold sellers are also infamous for hacking accounts and botting to attain illegal assets, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume the rest of their goods are illegitimate as well.

They take your money and then ask for personal information like your ID and passport IT IS A SCAM DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I fought them and in the end I received my money back BUT IT IS BEEN A HASSLE WITH THEM. SCAMMERS STAY AWAY! If possible i would give it 0 stars

Third time now i have been asked to prove who I am with ID. I was told once it's done once you will never have to send prof to them again. Very annoying never had this problem on any other gaming websites. Wont be using in the future and this review wont be taken down. Be warned when using phone payments other wise the site is great with any other payment service you use. {They are refusing to pay me now even after showing them my ID of me holding it next to my face}

I ordered fifa coins but I had several problems with it.

Okay, first of all: I waited almost a month, I wrote lots of letters to the website but they just replied that my account datas are wrong. They weren't.

And the best of all: after I waited this looong time, I got banned from fifa ultimate team. Yup, it is true.

So kids the consequence is: don't order from there.

I previously order 3 million coins on ios for fut, and a few hours later, they successfully arrived with no problems. But 2 days ago, i purchased a mule account with 3m coins on it, and its been almost 2 days and i have not received the details yet. I messaged them a day after the order (delivery time supposedly 5-360mins) and they responded 3 hours later saying to keep patient, my order is being processed and that they will send the details as soon as possible. Currently, i am still waiting and considering on e-mailing them again.
So far they seem like a scam, which is completely different from my previous purchase. I am not sure whether its the person handling the purchase (ying_goods or something like that) or the website in whole. Imo, keep away from it and stick to fifacoinstock.com if it comes back (5 purchases and all successful and 5 mins delivery)

All seemed perfectly legitimate at first. I saw PayPal as a payment method, so figured it would be trustworthy. Their prices were considerably lower than games cost direct from Steam.

But after payment was processed and completed, MMOGA only then prompted me to provide authentication of who I am, emailed me a PDF form to fill in including a scan of my passport, name, address, and signature, and show a photograph of myself holding my passport! I then emailed them to say I wasn't happy they'd ransom me for something I've already paid for, not being upfront, and that I'd opened a dispute with PayPal and wanted to cancel my order for a refund.

They then sent another email asking for authentication over phone, and answer some questions. I answered that they were supposedly doing all this to protect themselves from fraud, but they put their customers at risk instead. Our sales agreement was they'd deliver the game code within 5-10 minutes, they added hidden additional requirements after payment, after our legal sales agreement, and that they were in breach of that legal agreement.

At least they promptly repaid me in full, and not charge a €10 refund fee as others have said they were.
