Mingle2 advertises itself as a dating site. However, the site hosts mostly faked profiles, as far as I can tell. These accounts contain one or two photos of an attractive person, usually with the content of the profile reading "Hi", and nothing more. Occasionally, you might come across such a profile with a little more information added by way of question answers, but nothing substantive. These profiles could easily be vetted and removed, but administration lets them slide. Real subscribers are hassled by administration for doing their best to comply with site rules that seem to be written nowhere and enforced haphazardly. Spend your money elsewhere if you're looking to actually meet someone.

Beware and be Warned!
September 13, 2021

This is a prostitution/solicitation site. Save your money!
Most, if not all, of the women on here were sex trade women. All asking for money. All they do is heart every single Guy and when you heart them then that sends them a match, that's when they kept approaching me with a proposition of selling me sex. I have found that any remotely good looking woman is a prostitute on mingle 2, different profiles same girls. And when I declined a proposition they immediately they took down their profile and reposted a new profile under a different name. I'm actually trying to find a wife here. Any good standing person needs to be weary on this site. The propositions for sex and private showings for money, constatutes this mingle 2 site as a prostitution ring and legal action can and should be taken against this site and it's soliciting members. It is imperative that they screen It's applicant's and verifies there intent is not for solicitation.
Very disappointed.

Omg! Was on here not even 2 whole days and the amount of scammers and fake profiles is staggering. Men kept saying the same thing over and over and I finally realized it was general responses. They also are obviously from out of the country and CANNOT read or write english. I started asking them geographical questions about the area their profile said they were from. The most common response was... Why did you ask that? I finally started telling them to go read my profile if they want to know where I'm from or what I was there looking for. I started getting them calling me a $#*! or to $#*! OFF. I mean wow! It blew me away. Gave them a scathing review when I deactivated my account and am giving one here. If I could give a ************** I would and I will tell everyone I know thinking about joining a dating site not to join this one. I seriously blew me away.

Scammy and phony
July 20, 2021

What they do on Mingle2 is create bunch of fake profiles to make their pool of people look larger and they lure you into buying a membership. Don't do it, please don't believe their lies! I know what it's like to be wasting money and time pointlessly on those scammy and phony dating sites which never produce results. It's very disappointing and frustrating experience. But if something doesn't work because it's based on the basis of deceit, stop putting your efforts in it. Investing and wasting money are different things! I wish everyone good luck!

Mingle2 scam
June 24, 2021

The have tons of scam but then put regular people through hoops to use the app. Dont bother with this one or end up giving phone number to scam or having to prove yourself. I was gonna buy till they put me through hoops. I got used to scammers. But that turned out bad for me so I just deleted app.

I was on mingle 2. A few times I thought I found a special someone but everyone I met was fake. I know real people use it because I was on there and if you are reading this and have similar issues you were on there but finding real people on there is nearly impossible. I wouldn't recommend this site at all

With totally pathetic sites like this, setting up a Account is relatively easy. Removing it is almost impossible. You'll never know.!
Try adding a picture. Depends on moderators I guess. Some are accepted, others not. Why? Who knows. It's when you access the site when the shock hits you. Other members pics clearly inappropriate, out of focus, photoshopped, scanned images, etc. How did these get thru? Then you might get asked for a picture verification. Pose in rediculously stupid ways to upload and hopefully get accepted. But why you? Your pics are perfect! How do all the dodgy pics make it thru?
Then you try to search. I'm a guy. WTF? Absolute rubbish starts bombarding your inbox. Fake arse scammers! Not even good ones. Dumb as dog turds. How they make money is beyond me? Probably are commissioned to send you to paid CAM girl sites, Porn sites, Sex workers. Try searching Indian ladies. You'll see what I mean. Do a simple Google search on the pics. Yep. Stolen from Instagram, Catalogues, FB etc... You name it, they're pillaged from everywhere and anywhere.! Don't be surprised if you are confronted by a picture of your own beautiful Mother.!
Key indicators of fraud: pictures, profiles that make no sense and don't match pictures, pathetic grammar, immediate requests for your email address or other social media apps (where unsurprisingly they have their cams switched OFF!) Don't give them anything!
Their reporting system doesn't work. OBVIOUSLY! It's not meant to. Don't bother using it or dare think about complaining. It's your ticket to having your account deleted without warning. Try complaining via Site Admin and or so called moderators, who are wrinkled old ladies and probably volunteers. They seem to work by a script. Ignore or flick all or any complaints! They quite clearly have no idea about the mechanics of the site they are moderating. They are setup and planted into these roles because of there personnel ignorance and 'dumbness'.
So Mingle2 keeps ticking along and ripping off innocent victims in many ways.
Which organizations are capable of putting a stop to this, I don't know.
Keep a very wide berth from this site!

Mingel2 Madness
February 1, 2021

I am a single senior. I was on the site for about 1 week. And 2 women tried to scam me. Took me off the site onto Hangouts. Then they got to talking sweet to me. But lime the site information suggest. Don't go off of the site. Or send money. I did one not the other. Didn't send money. If you use this site keep on your toes. They will try to get you. And they are very good at what they do. P.S. I was a non-paid member.

Mingle2 is a money vacuum con site with bunch of fake accounts and scammers asking for money transfers. Another way they make money once they enticed you into subscription they put you on automatic renewal and recurring payments. They make it very confusing and complicated to cancel.
I started questioning Mingle2 when a woman I corresponded with put up super sexy photos where she looked very differently. Of course her next step was asking me for money.
I left Mingle2 when I saw two scammers who I reported appear again with the same photos but different names. It was the final straw.

I think as time goes by, things start off great then people with corrupt intentions ruin a good thing. Especially if it is free. Mingle2 is free and in 2017 I met a great guy from a country outside of mine and we had a long distance relationship for 2 yrs before I called it quits. It is possible to meet real people. We chat for 4 months before meeting in person. 2 months on the site then moved to email which was easier. Then built trust and exchanged numbers within the next 2 months. I went back after we broke up and the site was a whole mess. You can tell the scammers by their grammar mishaps and obvious short two worded lines that almost always sound the same like "Loyal fun and loving" or "Fun and caring". Some vague $#*! descriptions. But also note that their are some who write a lengthy description that sounds romantic and engaging. When in doubt of the length copy and paste a line from their message. If it is fraud it has been used before and said in many ways. It will pop up on fraud reports. My second time around I chatted with this wealthy man from Ireland who was already married but claimed to be having a rough time in his marriage. I encouraged him to go back to his wife. I dont want that karma following me. There are scammers there posing as wealthy men too. And they take miltary men's photos off their social media and use it as their own. Zoom in on photos and check the stripes on the uniform. If their country and uniform dont match, it's a scam. Run for the hills! I met a real English Veteran from the army on there. He helped me to call in scams although he was weary of me and called me over whatsapp to make sure I was real. All in all be cautious please. Don't ignore red flags.
